Whether the name of the hotel is mentioned or not, I believe you will not want to have your wife wait for you in such a hotel pending your arrival, only for her to forward a message to you, detailing how she was asked by a staff (of the same hotel you gave her money for) if it is okay by her to open her legs for him to do, what only you should be found doing down there.

Depending on how civil you are, you might find yourself abandoning whatever you were doing and dashing straight to the hotel to give the guy the hardest punch you could ever give, before remembering that he has not even committed the act, at least, courtesy of your responsible wife. Bottom line, with such innate reaction from you, it is very obvious, that the issue is no longer an "ant matter".

Meanwhile, I believe the issue would have drowsed naturally while she was in the hotel if the hotel management had handled the situation better, by assuring her of safety and privacy in her subsequent visit, and of course, terminating the employment of the crazy staff immediately. So much that, it would be the lady that would literally beg the hotel management to use it as a warning for him, or at most, convert it to suspension for him, rather than dismissal. But the opposite was the case.

Yet, I believe there is no negative publicity if the hotel management can be smart enough to do the right thing (if indeed, they were not a part of it), but it is expedient for them to involve the public now.

It's obvious that you are salary earner who has never owned or managed a business otherwise you would understand the pain of having your sweat 'destroyed' on social media because of the transgression of a mere employee who has no investment stake in the business!

Disclosing the name of the hotel in public on social media was completely unnecessary and only caused them reputational damage that would be very difficult to repair.

I don't even have time for movies, and when I do; it is mostly Hollywood that would leave me awed and inspired, except for some Yoruba Movies I watch for cultural lessons and a few Nigerian Comedies on YouTube to basically laugh off stress. So, my mind is not patterned as you think.

See, I understand exactly what you have been trying to defend - the reputation of the firm on Social Media. To be honest, I'm fully with you on this. Why? Because I run a firm, and manage staff too. That is the reason I used the term "decisively dealt with" and "immediate action". That fast move on such confirmed allegation is solely for the purpose of protecting the firm's image before the sexually-harassed customer, whether she would end up escalating her experience to Social Media or not.

Meanwhile, it was never an unconfirmed allegation that required all the time in the world to unravel. The text message sent by the errant crazy staff already confirmed it. That is apart from the apology he was reported to have tendered, which is also an admittance to what he did. And what he did is not what can be classified under "erring". He was actually crazy! It would have been better that the offense was based on theft. If that lady had been the wife of a senior military officer in the days of the military, his crazy action would have cost the hotel management more than merely been called-out on Social Media.

Anyway, as I said, with smart PR Officers in the firm, there is no bad publicity. It is all about how it is handled. But honesty will go a long way in making the outburst of the lady turn to free marketing for them. For example, I never knew that hotel exist until the lady's outburst. And truth be told, I love what I saw. Without checking out their facilities, I like the Building already. But they need to reach out to the harassed lady, and hopefully through her, repair the battered image; while also ensuring that adequate training is given to their staff members from time to time.

I already have children and we are all born again christians - we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ from the curse pronounced by God on Adam and the curse pronounced by Noah on Canaan/Ham from one of whose offsprings blacks came to be.
