Its not a matter of being the largest in the world or anything; Can it cause the price of rice to reduce? Will there be adequate stable power supply? Can effective hands manage it?

You forgot to ask about the quality of the rice. Will it match up to international standard?

Nigeria is a illiterate Republic and the people are illiterate. All of this white elephant projects which the government is do left right and centre if you look at northern part of Nigeria most of the rice Mills are operating at 20% capacity. White elephants everywhere in the country this is what they borrow loans for. Please ask yourself where is the rice in Nigeria with their heads men's and kidnappers roaming around the farms in all areas. We have so many oil refineries they are not operating we have so many Steel factories they are not operating we have so many rice meals in every part of Nigeria they are not operating what is the use of borrowing international loans and spending it on white elephants

Even if it's 90 Trillion we are satisfied with this milestone bcs many state government have spent more on elephant projects with nothing to show for it

Ask NDDC to account for billions of allocation they received for year 2020

They have looted everything dry nd no one ever bother to hold them responsible so let's learn to appreciate those who have something to show for the masses

Hope it serves its purposes effeciently.
Hope some S.W states take advantage of this by cultivating enormous rice farm in order to provide options of supply for the mill. We cant rely/trust on Kebbi forever if we plan to sustain this for a long time.

That Imota was all forest b4 now watch how it'll gradually blossom.
Government in Nigeria are not playing their roles adequately. All it takes for any remote area to develop are roads, electricity and biz activities.
Once there are good roads, the remaining two will surely follow.

A wise Government will buy land in the suburb and make roads linking it to the city, then invite bizmen and housing agencies to come invest there.
All these ought to have been in place in Lagos years ago.
Well, better late than never

indeed. 800 hundred audio farmers including yourself had been engaged and given rice with paddy from kebbi. Only sycophants like you would believe someone who said he spent between 100k and 1m naira to teat one covid-19 patient daily. Get sense for once

Ok you borrow money and you employ people for something which cannot even operate you will be paying their salaries they are night when they are not productive which means more borrowing money to pay people salary. Just look at the companies and their production capacity it is close to 10%. Do not forget it's your tax which would be paid for this white elephant. How can you put a rice mill and start telling the Farmers to produce their rice the rice must already be produced before even the factory is complete

Knowing how cruel Nigerians are, this will never reduce the price of rice.

Look at cement. Nigeria is the largest producer in Africa and a bag is almost 4k.
The government in Nigeria has been hijacked by few cabals to continuously impoverish the masses. r
