Some met their spouse in church, ceremony, get-together, party, school, etc...Some met their spouse in a funny or unplanned setting, others met theirs in an organized setting. Some never believed their first meeting would lead to marriage, other(s) knew theirs would lead to marriage...

I met her on a bus.
The day like every other days in Nigeria so bright and hot, there the shirtless bus conductor started shouting "iyana ipaja, iyana ipaja" there are times his shouts started making a sensible melody but he will just end it with a catastrophic note making his call a form of urban pollution.
There this fair skinned Lady hopped into the bus, she was so pretty like a sea goddess, had this melancholic beauty and her smile so sanguine. She smiled and looked at my fairly ugly face and said "oga please shift". The bus seat naturally could contain just 3 people so I thought, "oga wetin dey do you ha" the bus conductor said, I shifted my buttocks to the left, enough space for her, but this Lady just seated forcefully and pushed me further to the left with her attractive butt rudely. Our eyes locked (not in a romantic way though but somewhat in a quarrelsome mood).
After 5 minutes after the journey, she tapped me and asked me with a smile "do you know iyana ipaja very well? I am new to this place" I answered "yes", she said that she is going to Vincent street to see her Aunt. Luckily that's where my street is I said don't worry I am heading there as well.
We came down from the bus later on, we would bike together and later on we would exchange contacts and call each other and also have long greetings.
She is beautiful with a wonderful height and stature and witty in conversation but display a boyish attitude, she might be a tomboy but her girly appearance betray such assertion.
Now we both live together happily of course not in Vincent but we she lives in my imagination.
