Both China and India have unifying factor-language
Tell me unifying factor for Nigeria.
States within India have the liberty and powers to specify their own official language(s) through legislation. In addition to the official languages, the constitution recognizes 22 regional languages, which include Hindi but not English, as scheduled languages , that is not to be confused with the official status of the Union. Hindi and English are the only two languages mentioned on the Indian passport (perhaps because of the wide recognition of the two internationally and to simplify foreign nations assessment of the passport).
States can specify their own official language(s) through legislation. The section of the Constitution of India dealing with official languages, therefore, includes detailed provisions which deal not just with the languages used for the official purposes of the union, but also with the languages that are to be used for the official purposes of each state and union territory in the country, and the languages that are to be used for communication between the union and the states.
Therefore, you assertion that India has unifying factor of language is billions kilometres from reality. India is extremely diverse and I commend them for regulating and managing their diversity despite the odds.

What mess did Zik create? Did Zik force Yorubas to join the North to fight for One Nigeria?

Did he force MidWest to join the Hausa/Fulani to fight for One Nigeria?

ehinmowo:
The mess that Zik created in this messy country is unfathomable. Indie, it's bitting the Igbos in the ass the most

Please help me tell that clueless lad, Nigeria’s problems are self inflicted based on ignorance of the masses, what we need is awareness, another race inherited Nigeria? They would have been the most prosperous country in the world.
And you people we keep shouting unity in diversity till Nigeria becomes another Yugoslavia and Soviet union.

They don't have oil, so the unity of Nigeria to them is non-negotiable.

Forget religion and face the initial topic which was ethnic diversity. Only Africans who behave like animals fight for the cause that doesn't yield positive results. A fight for tribe is nonsensical fight!

Colonialism never truly ended. They continue to subjugate us one by one, picking at our divisions as the cause of our problems whilst they pillage the natural resources of our country. The problems we complain about never seem to be thinned to the root: always for greed and monetary gain. This international banking system, it plagues everyone into thinking they must blame their countrymen for loss of business. Who was to say they needed the business? Who was to say they couldn't have done it themselves; that there was no avenue by which to learn? There always is, yet we seem to sabotage each other in any possible way we can fathom just to be favored in the eyes of these international overlords. Regardless of any ethnic division existent, corruption exists at not just every level nationally, but globally as well. They profit from being able to take our resources. They would not profit if we were to be the ones to export them, and at every level it has been blocked from happening. If petrol was to be nationalized tomorrow they would have none of it and impose sanctions as high as the heavens.
