Senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre Sam Adeyemi has advised Christians not to get themselves worked up over restrictions placed on cross-over services set to hold in churches on December 31 Several states have urged religious leaders to respect curfew while others have outrightly banned cross-over services. Reacting to the development, Adeyemi tweeted on Tuesday, “If you say ‘Happy New Year’ at 2pm on 31st December in Lagos, you won’t be wrong. https://twitter.com/sam_adeyemi/status/1343933676644667392?s=20 In Lagos, the Christian Association of Nigeria directed churches to end cross-over services by 11pm to allow residents return to their places of abode before the midnight curfew takes effect. 21 Likes 3 Shares
