Do you think she's asking for the money with intent to redistribute among the teachers? Why didn't she do that the first time?
marod:
In my school, we collected from the 10 staff that benefitted and redistributed to all staff including the over 20 that could not benefit due to the limited slot. Refusal to release it so others can also benefit is the greed here. Teachers didn't benefit out of luck nor merit. The school selected 10 staff at random for the benefit of the all staff.

Not all are paid. I uploaded my 4 employees and they where all paid but not to me. Well, that is their respective salaries. The owner doesn't havr the right to demand the money. That is why it called payroll surport. However, u shouldn't expect to be paid for the next three months as FG has taken it upon itself to do that. 2 of my workers where paid 50k each. We are waiting for the last payment though.

Ok.. I guess it doesnt apply to all beneficiaries. It is all good sha.

From some of the comments, I can see that some people didn't understand the plight of that employee. Do you know that most of the private schools didn't give a single kobo to their staff? Even some well to do schools only gave 5k to their staff in April and even when schools resumed after the lock down, they did not get full salary . The sharing formula is what is the problem. If a school is keeping 15k for itself from every 30k,do you think that is fair? Teachers in schools with over ten members of staff should not be dumb to know that those whose accounts were not used should also get something. So the big issue is the percentage the school is keeping for itself.

You should be careful because in your bid to be good, Nigerians will beg you, finish your money and you'll see the beggars laughing at you. Do not wait for Nigeria to happen to you. Be wise.

Please I want to ask a question, my boss is telling me to return the whole money to her, tho I first returned the first payment to her but when I got to find out is for employees I decided to hold on to the second one, now she is saying it's for the school and not for we the employees, please shed more light
It is for you not for the school. The government decided to do this inorder to reduce the effect of Covid-19 on private school teachers especially those that school authority could not pay that way they don't have to pay their staffs for the period of Covid-19. If government wanted to give the money to schools they would have requested for the schools account number not the staffs

You better resign and look for another job even if the salary is not much to that cause you will never make any progress working under such person.

All this nonsense arrangements you people are coming up with because you've seen money is trash because that was not how the FG meant it. Besides, all together we were not up to ten Teachers in that school which afforded her more slots to include three of her family members including herself. So your point exactly??

Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeww.
this sch owner can apply for the keep mute, who will arrest him/her.moreover not every firm that applied got the fund.we need to be grateful sister

Ask the thief to return the previous money you gave to her. It's all yours. The rich oppressing the poor to get richer!
Let her call the police. Olosh she is.
Kazmelt:
My account of course, that's why I'm surprised she is telling us to return she even threatened using the police but I stood my ground because she collected the first one without stress but this second one was when I realized from the people have asked that it's our personal money but she is still disturbing tho

A friend who works with a private school complained of their director giving 10k to those who their accounts were used and 5k to other staff only from the 30k fund received.
Is it supposed to be so, because he said they have less than 20 staff all together?
He should report the proprietor to the authorities but make your friend know say him don lose his job.
He can email complainant public commission or go to their Abuja office or state offices.

maybe those with similar experience should answer this, because I heard many people missed their calls.

We had similar experience. Three people missed their calls. I wasn't even called at all. Only three people were able to speak with them but we got paid. So, I think they only need to speak with a few people for verification.

The money is paid to help the business owners to help pay salary because a lot of businesses are folding up.so,it's main purpose is to help lift the burden on business owners so they could pay up salary to their employees

1. Hold on, did your boss pay you your full salary, I mean COMPLETE salary during and after the lockdown? If yes, morally you are obliged to returned it to him or her.

2. Were you paid FULL salary for the months you received the survival fund? If yes, return the money because it expected that you should not be paid by your boss for the 3 months that the government will pay you.

Survival Fund is to cushion the effect of COVID-19 on business by providing grant in terms of paying the business wage bill. This is to enable the company/business to save more fund by paying her wage bills for 3 months. Technically, if your business monthly wage bill is ₦150,000 ; it means government has supported the business with ₦450,000 and they expect the business to invest it so as sọ cushion the effect of the COVID19 on the business.

I was not paid any salary through out the Lockdown at all, and she was even owing us half the amount from March salary it was when we resumed in October that we started working again that we started getting paid for the work we are doing, but we were not paid at all during Lockdown

Hm!
When did govt say all these things you wrote up there? Help which business owners. Una hear money now una eye begin dey open wide dey claim "paying workers".
did any of you pay your workers during the pandemic? Did you?

Please you guys should just stop this "enable owners pay workers" cliche that I'm hearing all over the place because its only making you sound greedy and mind you, we are not babies.

That fund Is govts compensation to teachers who didn't get paid throughout the whole of third term that the lockdown was extended for and which none of our schools paid for. Not any business owners money.

This is not for redistribution if was the number of teachers present in the organization that was uploaded, we don't have up to 10 staffs

maybe u didnt know, the scheme only allows u to register only ten staff,so hpw other will other stfaff that werent picked by the sch owner feel,in a better place the sch owner will retrieve all the money, take his/her portion and share the remaining amongst all remaining staff ,THE IS CALLED EQUITY. the sch owner can decide to choose family members to benefit from the scheme, and claim he/she didnt even applied for the scheme.moreover not all institution got the fund, also they pay 6-8 persons only out of 10

I know but what you don't know is that the school doesn't even have up to 10 staffs and what you also don't know is that we have remitted the first 30,000 to the school which is even enough if we wanted to give them a percentage, so what equity are you talking about again

Sure, but when the organization is trying to play smart, first of all my own school, we don't have up to 10 staffs so all teachers uploaded were beneficiaries, two, we paid the first 30k to them without complain, so I guess that's enough for being grateful
