Do you think she's asking for the money with intent to redistribute among the teachers? Why didn't she do that the first time? marod: 1 Like |

From some of the comments, I can see that some people didn't understand the plight of that employee. Do you know that most of the private schools didn't give a single kobo to their staff? Even some well to do schools only gave 5k to their staff in April and even when schools resumed after the lock down, they did not get full salary . The sharing formula is what is the problem. If a school is keeping 15k for itself from every 30k,do you think that is fair? Teachers in schools with over ten members of staff should not be dumb to know that those whose accounts were not used should also get something. So the big issue is the percentage the school is keeping for itself. 1 Like |

Kazmelt:It is for you not for the school. The government decided to do this inorder to reduce the effect of Covid-19 on private school teachers especially those that school authority could not pay that way they don't have to pay their staffs for the period of Covid-19. If government wanted to give the money to schools they would have requested for the schools account number not the staffs 1 Like 1 Share |

You better resign and look for another job even if the salary is not much to that cause you will never make any progress working under such person. |

The money is paid to help the business owners to help pay salary because a lot of businesses are folding up.so,it's main purpose is to help lift the burden on business owners so they could pay up salary to their employees |

TGM2015: I was not paid any salary through out the Lockdown at all, and she was even owing us half the amount from March salary it was when we resumed in October that we started working again that we started getting paid for the work we are doing, but we were not paid at all during Lockdown |
Re: Survival Fund Clarification by Nobody: 8:23pm On Dec 30, 2020 |
asohill16: Hm! When did govt say all these things you wrote up there? Help which business owners. Una hear money now una eye begin dey open wide dey claim "paying workers". did any of you pay your workers during the pandemic? Did you? Please you guys should just stop this "enable owners pay workers" cliche that I'm hearing all over the place because its only making you sound greedy and mind you, we are not babies. That fund Is govts compensation to teachers who didn't get paid throughout the whole of third term that the lockdown was extended for and which none of our schools paid for. Not any business owners money. 1 Like |

ibinaboonline:This is not for redistribution if was the number of teachers present in the organization that was uploaded, we don't have up to 10 staffs |
Re: Survival Fund Clarification by Kazmelt(m): 8:34pm On Dec 30, 2020 |
AbuAeesha: I know but what you don't know is that the school doesn't even have up to 10 staffs and what you also don't know is that we have remitted the first 30,000 to the school which is even enough if we wanted to give them a percentage, so what equity are you talking about again |

The registration allows only 10 staff to be put..so if you are luckily selected among the 10..then thank God..and also some firm are just starting so dont blame them..this is an opportunity to strengthen their organization,..without the firm you will not get money at all..be gratefull 1 Like |

Re: Survival Fund Clarification by Kazmelt(m): 8:22am On Dec 31, 2020 |
Nickson6969:Sure, but when the organization is trying to play smart, first of all my own school, we don't have up to 10 staffs so all teachers uploaded were beneficiaries, two, we paid the first 30k to them without complain, so I guess that's enough for being grateful |
