What about school that didn't even registered their staff because they find want to open their finance to the government. That's my school. They claimed the FG was asked for their financial record and taxes that's why they could not register us . 3 Likes |

It is a fact that our politicians are not the worst set of citizens we have in this country, just imagine the little 30k PAYROLL survival fund paid to staff of small and medium scale businesses is what the business owners who enjoys the profits of the business are dragging with their staff member. It was made clear that the money paid is for members of staff of the various organisations, that's the reason why it was paid directly to their accounts. If there are more than 10 staff in the organisation then it can be shared EQUALLY to all the members of staff. Lets imagine that the various business owners have the opportunity to be in government, just imagine what they will do with the government fund. I will end by saying that our politicians are not the worst set of citizens in this country. 9 Likes |

Minjim:Your school owner is one of the problems in Nigeria. The survival fund is never meant to open anyone financial dealings, but since your owner has skeletons in his cupboard. Your owner is type who will never pay any kobo as tax but will be complaining of bad roads. No one ask for any tax payment nor any financial records. 8 Likes |

chccho:You're blessed a million times. @ Olam09 should see this. You called me a thief in a faceless forum because you're opportune to a prolific China phone. I forgive you. Now to the point. Government isn't paying all staff. The management was asked to submit a list, which you were included. The motive is to use your account and get the fund first. Is it better he didn't submit your name? outta 70 staff of 50, 10 are selected. These 10 brings the money for the school to share among other staff. Which you're also part of. 30k x 4months. How much, bros? Nawaoh o! I realised that those employees that don't want to bring out the money are being paid lower than the 30k. If you're being paid 40 to 50k, trust me...you'll bring out that money. Survival fund for schools ain't meant for one person. You were just lucky to be selected to get the fund for the school. Don't give to the director. They have theirs. The money is for the employees... and should be shared among them. The director's work is to supervise the sharing. Nawaoh for people o! 5 Likes |

Kazmelt: 1. Hold on, did your boss pay you your full salary, I mean COMPLETE salary during and after the lockdown? If yes, morally you are obliged to returned it to him or her. 2. Were you paid FULL salary for the months you received the survival fund? If yes, return the money because it expected that you should not be paid by your boss for the 3 months that the government will pay you. Survival Fund is to cushion the effect of COVID-19 on business by providing grant in terms of paying the business wage bill. This is to enable the company/business to save more fund by paying her wage bills for 3 months. Technically, if your business monthly wage bill is ₦150,000 ; it means government has supported the business with ₦450,000 and they expect the business to invest it so as sọ cushion the effect of the COVID19 on the business. 9 Likes |

Re: Survival Fund Clarification by Josephamstrong1(m): 8:42am On Dec 30, 2020 |
Lamasta:Do you have any evidence to support your claims? Not all employees were paid. The motive was to get fund first with qualified employees. If you didn't get and you colleague got, you don't be saying this. School wasn't given separately like you claimed. Directors were paid, but not all employees got. It is the directors duty to supervise equal sharing of the fund among all staff. 1 Like |

Badfinga:If I can comprehend this your post. It means not all staff received the survival fund. The director is trying to be fair to all, nothing is wrong in that but my concern is what happens to the balance of ₦15,000. Is that he pocketed the balance? If yes, is s/he still paying their full/agreed salary? If yes, in my sincere opinion, nothing is wrong in that. 2 Likes |

Kazmelt: Badfinga:In my school, we were forced to return #5500 from the first payment and #7500 from the second payment. I learnt some Schools collected two-thirds back from their staff on each payment. Worse still, some Schools used the account numbers of family members instead of staff members. These are schools that are owned by overly Religious leaders. Nigeria is irredeemable. 9 Likes |

These people complaining should know that some of them are not aware of how proprietors surfers to register thier schools for the survival fund money. The highest no of employees a school can registered is 10, some schools have more than 10 staff then what happened to others whose accounts were not used. So Directors that requested for the money is for all staff to benefit. 1 Like |

I'm thinking some organization has more than 10 staffs as stipulated by Survival fund, they need to fulfill financial obligations to the rest as well. What I think they should have done is to enter an agreement with selected staff on how the payment will be shared. 4 Likes |

For the china phone you're insinuating on i don't use fake phone every of my gadget are Samsung made my laptop is Samsung made so my phone also, i don't use thrashed device eg. Iphone, infinix, techno, and bla bla like that. To me ooo the money is nothing but i felt like it's a great cheating at least the properties should collect 30% will the employee should recieve the rest. To those supporting this greedy act I'm sure either your parents or your relatives are doing this to thier employees, that's what we call total greediness. 2 Likes |
