Hi guys I just want to know if it will be possible for a single mom in her 20s to find a husband. It’s just a topic I was discussing with a friend, and I thought I would make enquires on her behalf. A mother of a son who is 5 years old Let’s discuss, what she should expect Her limitations How she should go about dating And the possible experiences you’ve had dating single moms or being a single mom dating yourself. Hi, not all men can take in / father a child that isn't theirs. A lot of single moms are overprotective of their heart, baby etc, also they hide feelings claiming to be Jason Bourne, cause of these they have toxic behaviours. It isn't their fault as quite a number have been in abusive relationships in the past. What happens is they still feel hurt from the previous relationships and it affects their going forward. When you have hatred in your heart for someone, you'll be so blind as to how it affects your relationship with other people, that's the problem with a lot of them, and because of this, men that don't have time for stress simply avoid. Kamdil: how many have you met? don't conclude quickly and please don't use it against them. its better and honourable to be a single mother than to abort the pregnancy. 2 days ago someone was referring a single mother to my friend for marriage, a very nice single mother, she in a single mother today because the guy betrayed her trust and she wouldn't compromise her faith. 3 Likes |

Kamdil: A childhood friend that knows her in and out was the one making Referer and telling us about her. she honestly say among all her friends, she(single mother) is the only one she can refer to anyone because she is too good. she told us the complete story. debbydams: a lot of guys out there reason like me but one can't say that for everyone. its the mentality and orientation of some of them really, sorry about the ugly encounter, but you for answer the guy well na, next time you let such guys know that such mothers are better than the ones he pride about, did he know how many abortions his saints girlfriends (that are not leftover) has done for guys around? trust is, most single mothers are less promiscuous (not judging anyone though). I will be glad to join you in future to help them...and Amen to your prayers for those discriminating against them. |

culf:She's too good because she's got over 0.5 already. A child reduces a woman's chance of getting her choice of man by at least 50% same way being broke reduces a guy's own by 90%. She knows this so she's making up for it with the good character she's portraying Give her a husband and watch her become a Lannister after she gives birth to a male child. olabrinks: It is possible. Some men don't mind. Especially divorced or widowed men, or those who want to marry a second/third wife. It's always a possibility. To boost your chances, you could; 1. Be truthful upfront and tell them that you have a child, and be truthful about how it happened. 2. Get rid of any attachment to the baby daddy. No man wants to marry a woman who will still be forever attached to her ex through a mutual child. 3. Set up an endowment or educational fund to take care of your child's expenses. Many banks and insurance agencies have such funds. This will show that your child's expenses are well taken care of, and that the new man's contribution is optional. 4. Forget about high value single men and set your eyes instead on a divorcee or widower. Few single men want to marry and take care of a woman who already has a child as their first. And even if he is willing, his family won't be. Marrying a man against his family's wishes is a sure recipe for disaster. 5. Make sure there's another caregiver who can care for the child when your man wants to be alone with you; perhaps a night off or a weekend. Avoid employed nannies. Grandmothers and aunts are the best caregivers for such situations. 6. Build trust. Single mothers are seen as wayward. Break that stereotype and be seen to do so. Avoid flirting and unnecessary communication with other men, and ensure that you are always where you say you are. Don't play silly games. 7. Be humble, submissive and honest. Don't demand for money or other material things. Don't accept if he gives you unless they are inexpensive gifts of sentimental value alone. If you want to go out to eat and you feel you should take food back home to your child, always pay for it yourself. 8. Get used to doing all the above sincerely and not out of pretence. Few things destroy men's affection like when women pretend. And yes, we can always tell, though we may keep quiet about it until we attain our objectives, so just don't do it. well from my own experience, having dated a single mum before....They are too demanding. Always expecting you to meet all their demands whether you have it or not. To be sincere with you I was finding it hard to marry her n her daughter too, it's not as if I don't love her daughter o, but I keep seeing myself that I loss, and she won...If I marry her, considering the fact that dir are buriful young ladies out dir. my family too followed to discourage me about her then @Op, They can find husband.. everyone can't be the same. But guys bear in mind that the love they have for their child will always be placed above you as the hubby. 6 Likes |
