If you are truly from Edo state as your moniker portends, then you ought to know that "Osaremen" is a Delta variant of the original Edo version "Osariemen".

The Delta version is quite common among kids born especially in Ika area of Delta North (Igbo speaking part, hence Anioma).

You can ask around!!! I don't make empty claims.

Anyway, a simple Google search would have prevented this unnecessary dragging of the poor girl's roots. Her parents are from Edo State. She is not Anioma.

The names are merely modified largely, e.g Osariemen (Edo) becomes Osaremen (Delta)... I have friends from that Delta area who bear Edo names like Ikponwosa, Osaretin, etc...

You will see people there with full names like: Osaretin Emefiele, Alex Osifo, etc.

As a matter of fact, Delta came out of a union with Edo state... It was formerly called Bendel!!! The parts of Delta closer to Edo state still share very similar cultures, traditions, dressings and yes, names!

Prior to that time, I never even showed interest in what people were saying on his lopsided political appointments. There was a topic of debate on aviation during which Mr Sirika the Aviation minister spoke. Shortly after that, another fulani who was the DG of NCAA( Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority) also spoke. As if that wasn't enough, one man came out to speak on NIN, a DG and another northerner. He said his office would work with NIMC to make the NIN exercise a smooth one by providing some of their facilities for this purpose. I asked myself, are we running a northern government?
