The price of cement have really gone up for the later part of year 2020 and it is still high. So, I'll like to know why is the price of cement still high and how much is cement in your area? Is there a possibility that the price will fall anytime sooner?

Here in Port Harcourt, retailers sell between 4200 to 3900 naira which is quite high. This has caused most people to put their projects on hold or slow down the pace of the project. Or, will this price range remain as the official market price?

Varies depending on the store and axis here in Lagos. A neighbor got it at 4,000 just few days ago around Awolowo.

Four Cement manufacturing firms or not... So far a monopolistic structure is being promoted in the industry, we will keep reaping the dividends. Besides, Lafarge tried as much as possible in terms of their operational structure to institute a break but they are still handicapped.
