ALL Multinational companies or indigineous companies doing over 1B naira in business with the Nigerian Govt MUST be COMPELLED to finance a football club of their own in a new Nigerian super-league. We have Chevron, Texaco, Conoil, shell, Sahara, Dangote,BUA etc. They all have the capacity.....They can even be given tax breaks as inducements. Nigeria needs radical leaders! |

Nigerian football industry has no reliable investment structure, returns on investment and profitability is highly doubtful. What is the value of Nigeria football TV right? How many spectators go to watch live Nigerian club matches and pay for tickets. How accountable is the system of ticket sales management? income streams associated with Nigerian football are currently shallow. Investment in Nigerian football club is best described as a charity business, for now. Otherwise, it is a loss-making venture. |

It takes someone with real passion for football to invest in it, in addition, they must love to see Nigerian football suceed. It is not just about having the money. |

Na you go tell businessman where to invest im money? For crying out loud, he didn't say he wanted to buy Arsenal for charity but business. If it were for charity, then your opinion may be reasonable. Na only for Africa who nor get dey wan advise rich or wealthy man. If he was using sentiments in his businesses as you wish, he wouldn't have been the richest man in Africa by now. Many studies are done before investing..... |

Chief MKO Abiola (Abiola Babes and Concord FC). Chief John Mastoroudes (Leventis United). Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (Iwuanyanwu Nationale). Chief Adewale Teluwo (VIP and Obanta United). Chief Oscar Udoji (Udoji United). Chief Jude Ezechukwu (Jasper United). Have all tried and abandoned the idea. |

Jazzafizzy:look, football clubs dont make money by magic, it is from the spectators who buy tickets to watch matches, adverts through hoarding, jersey etc. So before you start a tribal war, how much do we watch Nigeria premier league? Dangote is a businessman, he'll always want to make more money |

That is a very bad business decision to invest in a naija football club. The word would've been "assist" and not "invest". |

please let dangote invest in Nigerian clubs, he will surely break the monopoly there. with 6-7 years of dedicated hardwork and pumping of funds into it. he will make the Nigerian league even better than south African league of today. all this people here that are insulting Nigeria system due to its failure. that's why you will never be rich, because the rich sees a solution where there is a problem and he quickly solves it for the masses stop complaining and live right. thanks! |
