Nigeria operates an English law because of our colonial masters which is Britain. So, due to the fact that Brits are dominantly Christians their laws seem Christian-like.

One interesting thing abt u is the poor knowledge of Nigerian complexity. It's the responsibility of FG to establish the courts through the amendment of some acts which will enable the proposed states based on percentage to take part in the acts if emended.
No states in Nigeria dispense justice like most Northern states. Go to Kaduna and see how the system is; Muslim dominated parts have both shari'a courts and conventional while Christian dominated parts have customary courts and conventional courts and this is applied to many states with mix faiths of larger proportion.
Nobody stop any state from establishing their courts wether base on faith or tradition. You lack enough jurisdiction to enact laws in ur religion that is why u envy others. It's clearly stated that every state can adopt its own constitution base on their customs but I don't know why Sharia system is giving u headache?

Shari'a system has jurisdiction on Muslims only and if any Muslims state abolish something based on Islamic culture then u have to abide by the law of the adopted state of ur residence. We need to respect the culture and religion of others. But the religious fanatics and jingoist see all these as a pain because of extreme jealousy.
No where in Nigerian constitution where it's stated that Nigeria is a secular state, No where!

If this sharia law will also be applied to the rich Muslim as well as Muslim politicians, then no wahala ..Becos what I have observed is that, the sharia law is only carried out on the poor and the rich are allowed to be tried under the general law..that is if they do not buy their way out of their crime entirely .
Secondly ,those people whose arms and limbs have been cut off due to this barbaric law - what plans do the advocate of sharia law have for them ?Are there any welfare parkages for them ? If they can provide a long term plan on how these people can live without constituting a nudisance to our society, then they can restrict it to any stupid south Western state that will allow it. But do they really have such welfare parkage? Definately not ..what a law.
This country is already plagued with people in extreme poverty and hunger and some of them are migrating in large numbers to the south - Constituting a nuisance to our society .Nigeria cannot even cater for this already large population of beggers and the handicaps on the street and this fool is thinking of adding more to the already lingering problems that Nigeria is battling with .
Why is country cursed with stupid and fanatics- that only reason from thier anus ? Looking around us, all we see are poverty ravage northerners that are all over the place, begging for arms . This fool cannot even think of how these menace can be reduced, rather he is asking for an archaic law that is bias between the rich and the poor ..Sharia law is a charm in Nigeria and those advocating for it are bloody hypocrites . If not, by now we would not have corrupt northern politicians that are still walking freely, such as Ganduje the present Gov of Kano abd others .

As at now, Sharia law is the problem of Nigerian society. These laws are what terrorists stand on to commit abominable acts.

The same law that allows underage marriage instead of education for young women. Also recommends death by stoning for one participant of adultery and just canning for the other.

Instead just ask the Fg to gather all Muslims in a large tract of land like sambisa forest, and let them remain there to sharia themselves till dem belleful!

The only thing I am against in this suggestions is the part requesting the FG to establish the Shari'ah courts. This is against the spirit of Shari'ah.
There's no need for the Federal Government to be involved.
