The area between Good coaching and Individual brilliance is a very big one. It's quite hard to definitively quantify which is responsible for a win. Sadly a lot of fans and analysts alike are not sophisticated enough to understand this fact. In the case of Nagielsmann for example, some of our people go argue say oh Nagielsmann turned some average players to stars. What nonsense, he no be one dey upcoming player dey become star(whichever level of stardom)? For you people because the player was relatively unknown, Nagielsmann na him turn them to star. As far as i am concerned it's very difficult to tell. For some only those in the class of good can manage manchester united. The trial in Sir Alex that brought us this worldwide fame and status is only possible in the 20th century according to some. The argument i'll give you if you bring up the fact that Sir Alex had a good resume before his appointment at manchester. But i suppose leading Molde to their first league title counts as something, although not as great as winning the European winner's Cup.His stint at Cardiff definitely casts doubts on his managerial ability. But knowing how this stuffs work any combination of things could have lead to that failure, his coaching inclusive. I do not know which contributes the most. If you ask most of the people here, all they would tell you is that Cardiff was relegated. They do not know how that happened, that is if at all his coaching was most responsible for it. I am not surprised by that. Our thoughts are usually very shallow. Besides Sir Alex was occasionally spending money to keep the overall quality of his squad high, including buying defenders at record fees and ofcourse some will bring up 2013. But if you check that squad well you would realize that squad wasn't really lacking in quality in comparison to the other title contenders in the league. When has Guardiola ever won without a squad on the high in terms of "quality", whatever that means? Although i believe some do not consider him a good coach. cheesy. In the end people will judge you by the number of titles you won unless you revolutionized the way the game is played. All in all Ole has to choose between 2 options. Get fired or continue succeeding and disappoint his haters. cheesy grin. I think he'll prefer the latter but given his history, you never know. He may just bottle it. I hope he doesn't.

I remember when Telles came and people said he would be crossing. Well it didn't take more than 2 matches for him to revert to the default setting of the team. Ole does not encourage crossing unless there's no other way. He prefers the attacking the ball through the middle and that's what the team is about
Cross and insha allah is not good but we should still be able to do a bit better. A ball across the 6 yrd box is more difficult to defend than an eye of the needle through pass.

If I didn’t add that, he would have surely belittled the Norwegian league. Treblechamp wouldn’t like that. grin

eph12:
Yes that's what I said. For some reason, crossing is not an option if the players can pass backwards grin

Maybe it's because Ole doesn't trust his strikers to get into positions or that they'll prefer to receive the ball on their feet instead of rushing into the box to contest headers. They only do that if it's a counter I think
Truth is who wan node ball enter net. Our present strikers are not even really known for scoring with headers.

The one wey Martial do against villa surprise me sef. I was just glad seeing the ball enter net grin

I miss those low crosses across the face of the goal, especially when we have attackers arriving at the near post at the right time. But I think only Cavani and maybe Greenwood have that movement

Martial has scored some pretty headers though. His headers are not bad, he only needs to make up his mind to be in the box and contest for the balls when the crosses come in

There's no evidence in our game to show that crossing is an option. I believe the team will work on this and get better with it. But I don't want us to be the cross merchant lfc and cfc is. God forbid
Didn't Martial just score in our last game with a cross from AWB?

Wolves have been in the EPL for a couple of seasons now...This thing is quite straight forward, I don't know why you guys keep dragging it.

Doc gave a very concise explanation but the argument is dragging on...Make everybody accept wetin him belief because the essence of the argument is lost as nobody wants to see reason with the other...

We should argue to learn and not to win because when we argue to win most times, we begin to turn logic on its head...

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini to Sky Sport about Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United: "It's difficult [to keep Diallo until the end of the season] because Manchester United want him to join the club immediatly in January... Amad received his passport".

No it isn't. Na you no get the point bros. The long and short of it is that it's not usually clear what is responsible for success in football. Individual brilliance or good coaching. They usually overlap most of the time. Even the great Sir Alex himself had a team full of world-class players.

Useless Chelsea. I hoped they could get a draw, but alas, I couldn’t have been more wrong.
