| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 11:24am On Jan 04, 2021 |
maestro09:Yes a GIFT DEED is good and which explains the huge deposit any huge deposit coming into your account do a gift deed and notarize it that summarizes it all cuz if you don't they will ask questions on why the lump sum and the source of where it's coming from hence the essentiality of the notarized gift deed |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 11:26am On Jan 04, 2021 |
Ckechi:Yes visit your bank to send the one year bank statement to the Canadian Embassy directly then a single page ticket ID and password will be printed out which you would upload back with your Application or when they request for it. Note it's not all banks that are into it so you need to know if your bank does it |

Ckechi:Additionally, To Solidify your Mybank Statement ticket details, note that you will also require a letter from your bank showing at least 12 months banking history. This letter will show your accounts, opening date, outstanding debts such as credit cards and loan. In a nutshell, this letter will show that the account has been operated to a satisfactory level. It must be printed on the bank letter head and include your name and contact of the bank This what most bank refers to as BANK REFERENCE LETTER The Letter will be addressed to the Canadian Embassy The Visa Officer The Deputy High Commission, Canadian embassy 4, Anifowoshe Street Victoria Island, lagos The bank can either give you this letter in person or they send it to the mail of the bank account owner You would upload this Bank Reference Letter together with your Mybank Statement ticket This is from someone that used a GT Bank & Polaris Bank for their application |

maestro09:Okay this gift deed is just like an attestation between you and the person giving the money (donor and donee) explaining that he or she gave you the money how the money was transferred, the date of the transaction and the sources of revenue of your sponsor there are different format online just Google sample of gift deed then you read through and edit it to your situation then go to Ikeja high court to notarize it with their seal and stamp then you and your sponsor with counter sign it as well just like the way an Affidavit of Financial Support is done |

Tre20:I think it goes both ways; 1. Finances: that landed property is worth this said amount... In case of financial constraints while studying, it can be sold to meet up. 2 Home ties: if the said property is own by you or gifted, shows would return to have what you studied in CA installed on that land. Example farming and all. Again, could be a house gifted to you. Shows you well established back home and there is no need for you wanting to remain there. So in all, in depends how it’s outline in your SOP |

AbiodunMobi2025:Hello AbiodunMobi2025, Sorry for the late response. Your profile seems in place. There is no rules that an uncle can't be a sponsor. All you need to do is avoid any money lodgement that can't be convincingly or evidently explained. Best of Luck |

Hello guys i have a btech in computer science with a cgpa of 2.3. I was thinking i could go for PG diploma but the agent I'm planning on using is saying i can't, that i must have a cgpa of at least 2.5. And i can only go for an advanced diploma. Is she correct? and does that show a career progression? |
