icellpower 12V 1.5KVA pure sine wave inverter, though with transformer, but idle consumption is around 10 to 12W....comes with 20A charger. battery settings, charging parameters, input and output settings are all customizable. i have a very clean used one for sale @affordable price.
anytime you have any good inverter like ds for sale. please let me know ooo. Thanks

Actually the inverter devices save power much more than the regular ones under the same conditions.

The inverter freezer does not have surge current like the regular ones have. It starts at 80 watts and slowly ramps up to the wattage its logic control dictates depending on how cool the interior is sensed to be. I have used the 319 litres successfully on a 300 watts inverter and the latter didn't even groan under the load of the freezer.

The compressor is powered by a variable drive motor, which means it can increase to work like a 500 litres compressor to speed up cooling and it can also slow down to work like an 80 litres freezer once good interior temperature has been achieved. The consumption reduces once it senses that adequate cooling has been achieved. The reduction can be as much as half the consumption of regular counterpart devices. This is also the way the inverter AC, inverter washing machine and inverter microwave works.

When all these energy saving scenarios are achieved and added up, it beats the regular devices hands down.

What I would have loved is for the freezer to have some degree of user adjustable settings like the inverter ACs have. That way, you can ramp down the compressor speed as you desire to accommodate your battery storage capacity, of course at the compromise of cooling rate and speed.

A work around could be to set a higher temperature eg -5 degree and ofcourse don't use turbo

Please experts in the house,I am in a dilemma here.Exactly on May 15,2020 I bought 2 units of Luminous Battery 200 ah and hooked them up to 4 units of 260 watts Felicity panels with a 60amp PowMr charge controller .The inverter is also Luminouv 1.5kva Zelios inverter. Last week the Luminous inverter had issues and I swapped it with Icell 1.5kva 12 volts inverter.During the day I do not have issues as the battery is slway charged. However I noticed that at night even with minimal load, the battery discharges fast even though there is utility light to support solar charging in the day.I dont want to believe the batteries are having issues already or is it because I used a 12volts inverter and had to parallel the two batteries?I am just confused because the batteries are just like 7 months and they have been connected to solar at set up. I never experienced this when I was using the Luminous inverter.

Please share your experience because its like these AGM batteries are no longer worth it!

Good day house.

I have a brand new Fangpusun 100/50 D controller ordered from that refused to work out of the box.

It recognises and displays battery voltage and PV input voltage but just refuses to charge. Rather than indicate bulk, absorption or float, it displays "Off" implying that there is no PV input yet, it accurately displays the PV input.

I have a feeling it something is wrong with the firmware.

Can anyone here fix it or knows someone who can fix it ?

Thanks.

If you can confirm your batteries where really full
And also you didn’t recently add more loads

It may be your batteries are not so good anymore.

Confirm their strength.

It may also not be so

Please note, your battery also may not be fully charged, this is the most obvious issue

Because for example 4 200 watts panels connected in series to a 24v battery system before and now it’s connected to a 12v system doesn’t mean it’s will supply 800 watts it’s was supplying to charge the 24vdc battery system.

Scc have their configurations, it may only accept the half of the total watts a 24vdc System will accept for a 12vdc.

Then in the long run it’s not charging the battery full.

Confirm your battery is full then run it as before.

And if not, your icell Power Inverter also may need to be checked, to know the charge limit, check I think it can be configured do well to confirm the charge limit.

Either parallel or serial, if a battery bank is full it should perform same way.

Except there are too many losses in the Inverter.

So the 1.5kva was a 24v inverter right? You will observe X2 current discharge on the 12v 1kva inverter. However the battery juice will get exhausted almost at the same time on both inverter running same load

How are the batteries connected to the charging source? Internal resistance can be an issue if not properly connected.
My research shows that the best way to charge batteries in parallel is as shown in the first screenshot below

This your connection is new to.me.I connected the positive and negative of the inverter to same battery before paralleling them to the second inverter. From your diagram,it means I need to change the positive from the inverter to the second battery but does the solar connection from CC Has to follow same rule?

It applies to every charging source.

With your present connection, first battery will get better charge than the second. But with the balanced Charging diagram, both will get almost equal current during charging so they will charge at the same rate.

Surprisingly,I think I get better charging current even as high as 32amps this period even with the not too sunny weather. I have 4 units of 260 watts in 2s2p This means that with a 12volts inverter the VOC is like 6 times of the battery voltage which is what maximizes mppt charging capabilities. Although the max PV for 12volts is 720watts but this is just a temporary arrangement pending when I fix my Luminous 1.5kva 24vokts ZELIOS INVERTER,which I intend taking to their service centre this week.

Also your new 12v inverter can you confirm amperage it pushes out to your batteries, try and get a gclamp this will give amperes that enter your battery whether it is sufficient to charge your batteries when there is utility...

I ordered from their store on AliExpress.

I have purchased the 150W flood lights from JustCallMenuel.

For testing, I used them at full (strength) illumination and they lasted all through the night and did not go dim at all.

If they keep up that performance for 3 years or more, then I consider them a good purchase indeed.

@Rajo4real,

Have a 100 watts and a 200 watts (not SMS brand though) that I got from the guy too (justcallmenuel). I not being a fan of PIR for ambient lighting, I asked for ones without PIR sensor.

This means they stay at full brightness always. The brightness last all thru the night into dawn when it automatically turns off.
