Not sure it will affect. During September intake (2020) visa was still processed except places where there was no lockdown.

So if Nigeria decides to go on national lockdown it will affect your visa process.

Secondly, I heard visas are now be processed in Pretoria (South Africa) I don't know how true this is.

Thank you. Please how much does walk-in cost at the TLS VI and what's the closet time possible in case of an appointment

#42,000. Go there early in the morning. People are not usually much for walk-in at VI as compared to ikeja. But you will pay center fee.

This isn't the US visa thread. The UK doesn't use I20, what you have is the CAS which has important details for your visa application.
Whatever you pay for your tuition will be deducted from your tuition, not your maintenance. The maintenance is for your living costs, not tuition.
If you're to pay £14,276 and you pay £3,000 to your school, the amount you've paid will be deducted from the £14,276 that you're supposed to show for your fees, not from the £9,207 for maintenance.
£14,276 - £3,000 = £11,276 + £9,207 = £20,483.

Okay thanks I understand now

[quote author=talkme post=97687775]Complement gentlemen. Pls I need your advice, my cousin's resumption date is May 2021 at Northumbria University. His fee is £7200, his friend in Uk said he can help him pay for the fees, all he needed to do is to transfer the Naira equivalent to his account. He said banks will take longer time to process if he chooses to that route. He charged him £1 for 635 Naira. The guy has helped him paid the £7000 to the school, and he has also transferred the naira equivalent to him. I was mad when he told me. Gentlemen, Can he write to the school that he wants a refund of his fee that the person that paid the school cheated him, since his resumption is May. After the refund he can now go to the bank to pay. This whole incidence happened on the 21 Dec 2020. Pls I need advice![/quotes

Hello everyone.

Please advise on this issue.

I started my 28 days count on 7th Dec and I filled my online application and submitted on 12th Dec. A friend just told me I should have waited till the end of the 28 days before applying.

Please how true is this?

Has anyone done this and got a visa?

You should have waited for the 28days to complete. Which bank statement did you submit? Go ahead and cancel the application

I applied for visa 30 days after I printed out my statement and it still got approved. Since it’s point based, as long as you meet the requirement you’ll be fine

Samgalaxy:
Urgent Pls!

Can I submit a statement of account I used for CAS application which was generated 8th of December 2020 for my visa application tomorrow? I hope it is not too old, i understand the 31 days rule but I just want to be sure. Can I do a walk-in appointment at TLS VI a day after submission of my application for a priority application ?

Have you paid? Don’t submit any documents until the bank statement matured. If you haven’t paid, just chill

British Airways Route:

1. Lagos(LOS) to Heathrow (London) -6 hrs 35 mins

2. Heathrow (London) to Aberdeen Dyce (ABZ)- 1 hr 30 mins.

I don't know if other airlines have a direct flight from Lagos to Aberdeen.

I think its only BA that operates that route.
Lagos - [London] - Aberdeen, book direct tickets either on BA website or through your travel agent, no need at all to break your journey into two separate trips.

Your airline will be able to clarify that for you.
No mention of border closings in the PM's speech, so presumably they will default to the current system of allowing travellers in and requiring quarantine.
