However small you think it is, congratulations for even starting.
Value stocks is what you should concentrate on.
Growth stocks will sweep your capital and make it look insignificant as they are usually heavily priced.

Still working on some stocks that will likely make good swing trades with possible long term prospects.

We see how far we go in days.

Century Link is a communications company that was heavily neglected during the rallies of 2020 due to their decision to slash dividends due to decreasing revenues and their desire to pay debts.

It is currently trading at 75% lower than its historical P/S ratio which makes it a sure candidate to rebound this year when you consider they have enough free cash flows with an impressive dividend yield of 10%.

I have watched it slowly crawled beyond $9 to $10.50 today.

I'm back I was temporarily blocked and two of my posts deleted so I am reposting along with some more info.

First we had a huge spike in usage this morning about 8 hours ago that caused the app to be slow - very sorry about this we have upgraded our servers to avoid this happening again. Thank you for your support and continuing to support as we grow.

1. passfolioapp.com is our old domain and still listed in some places we are working on updating it everywhere. 2. The instant withdrawal problem has been fixed and any pending ones were processed and should be much faster in the future. Instant withdrawals from the crypto wallet process 24x7. Instant withdrawals from the stock wallet only process between 11:00 and 19:30 WAT Monday through Friday (excluding US market holidays) - if you request a withdrawal outside that window it will process during the next open window.

3. Debit/Credit card deposits - we are working on this and hope to launch it soon. We have to get our compliance team to approve it which we're working on.

4. Performance Calculations - we recently changed the algorithm to use Time Weighted Rate of Return (TWR - https://www.investopedia.com/terms/t/time-weightedror.asp) because it more accurately reflects your actual investment performance and added in crypto performance so these numbers may have changed a lot. Previously we used a simple profit/loss calculation and it was stocks only. We are aware of a few bugs we are fixing such as the total and daily return does not sum exactly to the total and daily return of the individual assets. One problem is crypto trading is 24x7 and stock is not so we need to align the time windows in the calculations. Also a note with TWR is that it is possible to have a positive dollar return but negative percent or vice versa and it is correct - see https://www.marottaonmoney.com/why-do-i-have-a-positive-return-with-a-negative-gain/.

5. We learned that the problem with one of the withdrawals was that the Nigerian bank is rejecting it. I'm told most Nigerian savings accounts have a limit of N20,000 or N50,000 per transfer and to increase it you must give instruction and execute indemnity at any of the bankʼs business offices for higher limits. If we run into this problem we will contact you and let you know. Once you fix it we will then process the withdrawal.

You could transfer through Gpay following the process I initially outlined here.
I basically buy USD from the parallel market then pay into my dorm account for onward transfer to my trading account with T212.
I will see if I can quickly recall that post.

I have also funded with my USD Mastercard and NGN Mastercard via GPay but there is a limit for the NGN cards.

So bank transfer of USD should be the best options if you face any challenge paying with your card.
All you need do is to ensure you generate a transaction ID from the app and use same as description with your name in filling description for the bank transfer form.

Azure Power Global Limited is a solar power plant developer. They delivered an earnings surprise of 130% in the last reported quater.

This stock is on a steady rise and looks to be a powerful momentum candidate.

In the last 1 month, it gained 29%, the last 3 months gain is 102%, which means a swing period of between 1-3 months will generate some substantial gains.

Even though most fundamentally good penny stocks (under $10) have ran up above their intrinsic values, I still see the following stocks gapping up between 20 - 50% in the mid to long term: $GEVO, $PEIX, $OPK, $DVAX, $NNDM, $PLNHF, $CNDT, $HEXO, $SOLO and $CHEK.
Kindly note that penny stocks are more volatile and risky. Hence, still perform proper due diligence (DD) and determine your investing strategy (I.e. target profit, stop loss price and exit price) before investing in any stock(s).
For penny stocks, once you are satisfied with the DD and buy at a good entry price after technical analysis from charts, then you have to be patient and wait for Mr. Market to recognize the value of your stocks at the appropriate time.
