Sometimes, I feel these folks are unserious. First, you want APC and PDP to cede the ticket to the southeast, did APC win any state in the southeast inthe last presidential elections? Who have you reached out to? Have you talked to the stakeholders in the two leading parties? You fight for what you want and not pass resolutions you have no powers to enforce. At these meetings, come up with a strategy to win power, send delegations to the stakeholders in northern Nigeria and the southwest, build alliances, build strong bridges (Buhari realized this late but this tipped the elections for him in 2015).

This whole southeast presidency is becoming a sad joke. Imagine this:

Please find out how to win presidency. You owe it to yourselves.
APC is doing far better in south east today than PDP did in south west in ,1999 stop being bad hypocritical person

I hate politics but please these men should stop all these kind of talks. It sounds like Ndi igbo tribe is begging.

Just calm down...the day igbo enter that seat... Kai,.i pity how low some people up north will become...they will go full time to shoe mending, gate men, mai ruwa, mai suya and the leaders who ate money in d past will maybe serve them almajiri style food once in a while and ofc will never climb president position ever again. So they should Enjoy It while it last

And you wonder why Nigerians don't want you Igbos anywhere near Aso Rock.

Very simple. Go and get your ticket from the PDP.. your main party.

APC is a no no

you can't rule this country. Leave our zoo for us. Focus on your online country.

Did Ekwueme not contest with Obasanjo in 1998 PDP primaries?

The 21.36% delegates vote he got in the primaries was from where?

Orji Kalu or Umahi will need to contest against the likes of Tinubu in APC and you know that’s sure defeat for them.

In PDP, Peter Obi have Atiku to contend with and I’m sure Obi won’t even see the third position in the PDP primaries.

So I think it’s better you all continue your Biafla or death chant and leave the presidency position to those that actually have weight to win.

A word is enough for the wise.

Lol we know u people are hypocritical in nature but choose a path and stick with it ...

Do u support zoning or north

He specifically left out how onu was forced by the party to step down for oli falea based on zoning .....

Yorubas talk as if they are a force ...una done fight una self finish ? .....you are all banking on north supporting u over south east that's why u want half zoning trying to be clever by half

Without zoning no body in south can win presidency as it stands now

An Igbo man can be President but if it's in 2023, they've left it too late.
Pdp is fixated on Atiku because of the financial support he has been rendering though that is where the SE stand a better chance. They should do all their politiking in Pdp because right now they've not done enough in Apc to just bee handed the ticket.
Even Buhari wasn't handed the ticket in 2015. OKorocha contested with him in the primaries.

I could remember most igbos commenting that Okorocha is a fool if he didn't contest there primary, and he did

They should focus on PDp

I think the Igbo are getting something wrong , president will not be given on a platter of gold you have to fight and contest for it, if the unless Buhari fought for it severally ,so sounding as if Nigeria must vote for an Igbo man by force look ridiculous,
Present a credible and sellable candidate, campaign all over the country and try your luck in the election ,that is, if you win party primaries

was wondering like so they wanted presidential ticket from Tinubu Islamic party that they hated and insult all day?? like really?? is this not delusional??

even if APC choose their igbo person and pdp give ticket to North they would still vote PDP just to ensure APC loose grip..

Onu was not forced to step down, he won the APP slot because it was zoned to the South and that was why Olusola Saraki was out of the equation then in APP. If it hadn’t been zoned to the South, Saraki would have defeated him before 2pm on that day. Onu is a paperweight then and APP had to go into alliance with AD and the consensus provided Falae.

There is actually one Igbo man stronger than Onu then in APP that should have naturally won but I think they did some magomago and handed it to Onu because they know he won’t win jack in the merger. I forgot the other man’s name.

As you would know, during those period, Onu was a paperweight then and he wouldn’t have been chosen as the flag bearer for the APP and AD merger, moreso the Northerners who are more in APP favored Falae over him.

Yorubas have contested this presidency multiple times while damning zoning and if you remember Abiola contested against a Northerner and won through the ballot.

Walahi we are not afraid to contest against a Northerner because we are equally stakeholders in the Nigeria project and not second fiddle.

You think Tinubu/Osinbajo will be scared to contest against an Atiku?

APC are only making mention of the south because according to them they made a deal in the formative days and one good turn deserves another. If Buhari remain neutral, can you tell me anyone that can defeat Tinubu political machinery in APC for the primaries?

Is it El-Rufai or who?

How can we achieve presidency when we allowed Nnamdi Kanu to go preaching his campaign of hate on other enthic groups without restrain under the guise of fighting for ndigbo. Now he's destroyed whatever political gains we made since 1999.
Even the senate seat, the third most powerful office that used to be considered a defacto seat for an igbo man pending when he gets the presidency has been taken away from him. Now we are painfully back to square one like it was in post civil war

How many president from other part of the country has Obi and his people ever supported to president? How will you now get the support of the people you NEVER supported?
They have been supporting other people candidate since 1999. Go and check it. They have vote for other people tribesmen into office. So in 2023 , it is time for those people to return the favour back by voting for Peter obi people.

An Igbo man can be President but if it's in 2023, they've left it too late.

or at worst they should pay Tinubu a visit at bordillion and beg him to help them achieve this, then watch as TINUBU make it work like a wind, even PDP would b forced to zone to SE, aside that sha, with Tinubu opposing them, they ll keep parabulating illogically..

what they want is simple, they should pay Tinubu homage, beg him till he accept, all this tension ll go down.. u can't threatene people to support u voluntarily..
