Thanks so much for the reply
The 468 is for both me and wife, with me as the PA.
And wifey doesn't have the time to go back to school now due to work and taking care of our baby. That means when am ready to enter pool/ create EE profile,I should be the PA?

niyogeol:
Hello, the 468, is it with wife accompanying or just you? If it is, you should be able to get ITA anytime from now based on the recent draw cutoff if you are already in the pool.

Again, having a different name on a certificate with your wife is not an issue. You should open a WES account for yourself and one for your wife. Then get your transcripts (BSc and PGD) as well as the certificates from the degrees to them. Same for your wife.

For yourself, you will evaluate your BSc and PGD.

Your wife tend to have age on her side that can position her to be the PA, but her education is not enough. She should try to get one of the extra certificate courses people do and get her work experience to 3 years.

So this particular card is limited as stated, your friend needs to get the Virtual dollar card.
I think this one is kinda(Not so sure) used within Nigeria and maybe some other African countries.
You’d see site that it can be used.

ThatCEO:
Did my ECA Long ago n I am asking for a friend about this Barter by flutterwave...She has 72k in the account and the transaction was declined by WES ($230CAD).

Is it the balance that is not enough? How much more money should she add to her barter card? Is there there any explanation why d card didn't work? Thanks

Good morning house
Please I asked a question in few pages back but I didn't get any concrete answer, please I need hel from the house.
Afternoon calculations for my crs, mine -468,

wife 414
Profile as follows
Age-36 by Nov
Experience-5 years as a sales rep
2 years in an NGO
Education- pgd+bsc
Wife
Age-31 this month
2 years experience
Education-bsc
Please my question are as
1- who should be the PA?
2-i did my pgd in open University, when sending my transcript to Wes, wouldn't it be a problem as my wife and I have different names on our cert?
And am I opening different Wes account for us both, if sending 2 certificate?
3- Am I evaluating only my pgd and bsc for wife?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated, thanks a lot as we are beginning our process this month

Are you sure of the CRS score @bolded

At 35/36 with 2 or more cert, even with maxed IELTS your CRS will be within 440-450 range

Except you schooled in Canada or wrote TEF or you are claiming sibling point, please recalculate your CRS score and check if you did not mistakenly choose Canada work/school experience.

Good morning all.
Pls i have a question.
Should your primary NOC necessarily be your most recent job or i can use an employment of 2014?

I initially used my job of 2013/2014 but later changed it to my current job.
Which of these is ok?

Also for education history, am to list my history from Bsc to Msc or just Msc since i only evaluated Msc

You are welcome ,glad I could help
Personally I will advice the funds are directly done to the PA by a blood relative and a gift deed for the sum (mother, father or siblings).
Documents required would be BS,GD and REF ....or any other document required to proof your funds

Please correct me if any

wale200:
And please try and enlighten me further. If I do gift deed as an accompanying spouse for the money from my parent and I write a simple letter that the PA has access to the funds:yes you can
1. Will I add my statement of account for 6 months?

yes
2 Will my wife still add her 6 months statement of account if the remaining POF is her account? yes
3. Does the PA need SA and bank Ref letters in bank accounts that don't involve in the POF.
No

Thanks very much as you kindly answer my questions. And may God bless you.

Age is not on the side of both you and your wife
You have superior education and experience.

Unless your wife knows french, you should apply.

In that case Wifey should be the PA, she should try and get another certificate (there are shorter courses that can serve as 2 or more e.g BCS in IT, Cima , CIIN etc) please research more on the one that will be easier for her

While getting the ‘2 or more cert’ she should work towards completing her 3 years work experience to get the full point AND also try and max her IELTS to gain the points she already lost due to age. You will also evaluate your degree and also sit for IELTS if you are accompanying

Alternatively, the two of you can go ahead to evaluate your degree(s) NOW, write IELTS, create seperate profile and sit in the pool then research extensively on each province PNP.

However,if wifey can’t go through much stress as PA. You will have to learn french and sit for TEF/TCF

Whichever you decide, please do the bolded first, the universe can smile on you to get PNP In one of these provinces. That’s extra 600 points added to your 420 which will automatically get you ITA.

All the best.

You will turn the naira to dollar by creating a dollar card. I don't think you can use the Naira card on Barter to make any form of international purchases

Compliments everyone!

I know that this question has been answered previously, but I ask again to reflect current trends in the process.

Which is better:

1. As a married applicant, is it okay if my spouse transfers part of the POF to my account? If they do, is there a need to write a deed to cover the transfer?

2. Is it better if part of the POF in my spouse's account is left there, with just a letter written that I have unfettered access to it?

Thank you.

Please don't be down. I will advise your wife becomes the PA.
She will definitely have to do an additional course. Trust me it's not easy cos I've been there. I did my MBA taking care of my baby. If she can, she can also study french. The additional points are high.
Where there is a will, a way will show.

I can look through a few essays from you. But curiously, why do you need to rewrite IELTS? I believe you just received OINP? Or you want to follow FSW rather than PNP?

Good afternoon, please I have some questions and would be very glad if I can get clarity.. thank you
So I want to start the express entry process as the main applicant. So my issue is ...I graduated in 2018 and I served in a local government from 2018-2019, after service I started working in a school till date.

Please can i add my NYSC experience, with the current one to make it 3 years?

Also would I need to get a reference letter from where I worked during service or a reference letter from my current work place alone would suffice.

Thank you .

You can add NYSC, you need a reference letter for each work experience you're using to claim points.

Most of the information you need is on page 1 of this thread, with links to other resources.

The steps you need to take depend on a number of factors like age, your highest educational qualification, your work experience, etc.

Essentially though, you need to evaluate your credentials first and write IELTS.
