If you're just starting your process now, I think May is too close for both admission and visa processing. You should consider September resumption.

Olayinkaji:
Good day Guys, I would like to ask is it advisable to apply for May session or September session. I just want to start admission application. If I apply for May intake, and the admission letter comes out and I use it to apply for Visa application. With this new 35 weeks wait, will the acceptance letter be deemed invalid to IRCC if they are yet to respond to me after the May resumption?

I think that's OK, the program aligns with your work experience.

Good day my people. Is it advisable for someone with BSc in Engineering & 12yrs work experience in Supply Chain to seek admission for PGD Supply chain management in Canadian college. Noting that I've not been practicing Engrg since graduation. More so, MSc Supply chain is very expensive in Canada. Thanks for your response.

Hello @awys,

I totally agree with the bolded. I got thesame vibes at First bank saying they don't stamp statement page by page as if the world will suddenly end if they try it but I insisted oh until they gave me all that I wanted. Apart from being lazy, I've realised that some people just don't know how to apply themselves at work, they prefer to act like zombies rather than apply sense of reasoning per circumstance. It is well...

It will end in praise for us all...

awys:

It's not even the bank some of the staffs are lazy to draft just a simple reference letter and it's all these old generation banks that gives that excuses that a reference letter is not needed Please am sorry if anyone is offended but it's the truth.GTB bank already have their format they use so they give one hand once you request it from them and it's not free they will still charge for it so I don't know why they can't draft it and make money from it

You can certainly be admitted for a PGD program with HND certification. You can apply to Conestoga College and Fanshawe College.

@Frankrobbn1 - I looked through this college they don't offer PGD in Electrical engineering.

Pls help which school can I go for PGD with my HND in Electrical engineering

Is three months too much, I was thinking if there's no response before then, if I can now defer to September or its not wise to do that?

davo99:
I didn't get the NSE email, but during that period people were getting, I submitted IELTS AND MBS because I had them available.
Submitted them multiple times through webforms &mails, it was never acknowledged though.

Dear NL,
Respect to all contributors and viewers.

Please, I want to apply for undergraduate studies for my wife Nursing, having graduated since 2010 Geology worked as Sales Executive, Store Keeper and now into Catering in the last 4 years.

I was planning probably to use only WAEC to apply for the Nursing program or change to PGD in any course.

Kindly advise...

Why not try postgraduate in culinary management since has been practicing catering for 4 years? There may be no career progression in nursing.

Hi wizards,
I am 36 years old lecturer willing to immigrate to Canada for M.Sc., though possessed a Master here but the result is weak to go for PhD. I therefore apply for M.Sc. at University of Saskatchewan, for 2021 fall term. Can I get any one who is applying to the school for the same September intake.
Also, can I get a school that do M.Phi/Phd in agric. econs that I can apply to also.
Thanks my gurus in the house.

Apply for September.
Avoid anything that will make you work under pressure to deliver anything that may be asked of you. Also, the delays and fluctuations in processing times could eat into your anticipated start date. But with advanced time in application you have time to spare. Your application could be luckily expedited. But in a worst case scenario, you will have time

Hello gurus in the house, thanks for this wonderful trend, I'm at the point of starting my application to the University of Saskatchewan, PGD in Biomedical Engineering. My background is HND in Electrical Engineering and I have over 4 years working experience as a biomedical technologist.

I hope the uni I've chosen is ok and Secondly who can stand as a guarantor for me, can my friends, my boss or my company stand as such.?

Please help me out

Hi everyone,

I know September applicants have gotten ppr. Any one in October still waiting for ppr via normal route, not NSE?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Chukwubuikexo: 7:15pm On Jan 10, 2021
Can you help with a format of the waiver letter you wrote up
OtunbaTee:
Good day,

I didnt do IELTS like I said...I only uploaded the waiver letter I composed myself, while some other persons didnt even upload anything in that space...I also submitted the MBS from the bank, and re-uploaded the previous printed bank statement I used plus fixed deposit certificate. All on the GC KEY acct. 2days after bank sent me Ticket number n password, i now sent that via webforms and to all emails that ends with @international.gc.ca plus reminder that my school would be resuming 11th January EVERY BLESSED DAY OR 1 DAY INTERVAL. even the morning I got my PPR I still sent the webform n emails..

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Chukwubuikexo: 7:19pm On Jan 10, 2021
I believe a reference letter from your company signed by your Boss would suffice. If a study leave letter is possible, better.

Frankrobbn1:

Treasury bill investment account is not an eligible POF for study permit application. I will advice you use the regular bank statement which will demonstrate your financial strength to cover for the proposed studies in Canada.

It will end in praise

There is no need overloading your application with unnecessary documents. Since you have already attached the POF, i don't see what the treasury bills will serve as. Nonetheless it still remains your choice if you still want to attach it

I paid N280,000 for one-way on Turkish Airlines through Wakanow back in November. Since you won't arrive until Summer/Fall 2021, I suggest you book and do "pay small small" option Wakanow. Check online and then call them to ask what is possible. You may end up paying more (or less?) 6 months from now.

Wow #280K? This is an amazing deal

I heard
- Royal Air Maroc
- Egypt Air; are cheap aswell, can anyone attest to this.

Thanks

In theory, yes you can. But in reality, you don't want to do that.

Study visa requires intention to return, which conflicts with a Permanent Residency application.

Actually, it wouldn't make sense to a VO for you to apply for Study Visa when you qualify for a PR.

Chai, your responses dey burst head sha..blessings
mcobex:
First, don't hide your masters degree as it might come back to hunt you in future.
Secondly, what area of law was your first masters? Is it the same as the second masters application? If yes, then you can say due to unforeseen (personal)circumstances you couldn't concentrate during the cause of the program and you intend to have a second run at it(in a more stable system). If no, then you can say you intend to try another area of law that interest you ( give details on how you intend to use the new area effectively in Nigeria after graduation).
As for the PGD thing, you can also apply for it since your masters application is still ongoing and nothing is certain yet(don't put all your eggs in one basket). If you eventually get your admission then we can advise you on what next to do. For now concentrate on securing admission.
Good luck

Cheap in what sense?
We need to know there are different factors that decides the amount to book a flight like the traveling date, period, date of booking and sometimes the airline involved. Thays why sometimes you get to see Egypt or even Air Moroc tickets being more expensive than the likes of Emirates and Qatar airways.
What I will advise is to book your flight at least a month to your traveling date, that way you will get better offer. Also if you booking during busy season expect ticket price to be off the roof.

I actually saw the fare of some flight operators, it's on the high side. Saw the ones for #600k to almost #850K.

Thanks for the eye opener & advice. Those factors you mentioned are factors to consider before booking.
