Lol. Nigeria is a failed state.

Okay, why not do this? Every student should be assigned a zoom id on his or her portal. Telecos should cut down the cost of data for students. Engage students with online classes and Cbt exams should be done online too.
shey they will do this?

I know the USELESS and WICKED people ruling us in Nigeria are hungry for another lockdown since UK has announced another lockdown. They must copy every bad thing they hear from abroad. It's unfortunate to be a citizen of Nigeria.

Over 100k have tested positive for covid419 yet I don't know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody that has contacted coronavirus. Is this not a pure scamdemic?

They're after money and not the future of the youg ones.
They want to do more testing so the can have more cases and use that as an excuse for a lockdown.

Most private schools are already holding zoom classes. My child's school is, but not all subjects are featured and the cost is exorbitant unfortunately.

My immediate younger sister who is resident in Abuja just recovered from Corona. She was very symptomatic, and at a point we were worried. Two of her friends and their husbands have also had it and recovered. I believe they all gave it to each other by attending some kind of get together.

However, having said that, I still believe the figures are heavily inflated.

How about students who don't have phone or laptop (or money for data) to use for zoom?

*WHY WORRIES, WHEN THEIR CHILDREN ARE NOT SCHOOLING IN NIGERIA?* I WANT TO ENCOURAGE ALL PRIVATE SCHOOL/ TEACHER ASSOCIATIONS TO STAND UP AND REJECT THE EXTENSION OF SCHOOL OPENING, COVID-19 IS NOT OUR PROBLEM. GOVERNMENT IS NOT ADDING ANY THING TO PRIVATE EDUCATION IN NIGERIA, WE ARE THE ONLY PRIVATE SECTOR THAT IS NOT RECEIVING GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT, WHY CARING FOR US NOW? WHY CLOSING SCHOOLS AND ALLOW MARKETS, HOTELS, AIRPORTS,OFFICES, ETC. TO FUNCTION? PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS ARE BEING PAID EVEN STAYING AT HOME,BUT, NO BODY CARES ABOUT OUR CONDITIONS, LOANS, TEACHERS, CHILDREN AND FAMILY MEMBERS. WE MUST PROTECT OUR BUSINESS AND LIFE NOW. MORE THAN 156 PRIVATE SCHOOL OWNERS DIED DURING THE LAST LOCK DOWN, MORE THAN 75,000 TEACHERS QUIT THE SECTOR AND MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION CHILDREN ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN GOING TO SCHOOL AFTER BEING AT HOME FOR 6 MONTHS. HOW CAN, THE GOVERNMENT BE IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR OFFICES AND TAKE LIFE RISKING MEASURES WITHOUT PROPER CONSULTATIONS AND NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THE SOCIETY. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WE MUST SAVE THE FUTURE OF THIS NATION NOW. PRIVATE EDUCATION CAN NOT BE KILLED IN NIGERIA. SCHOOLS MUST OPEN 18TH. NOTE: POST ON ALL EDUCATIONAL PLATFORMS.

She is in JS 2. Quite frankly, it's not so bad. The only issue is that only about 50% of subjects are covered.
