.... @hi Sleeveheart, PayMyTuition (PMT) do take that time frame of 3-5 days but due to the pandemic, it might take longer. My advice to you would be, scan the receipt of payment you made to PMT and email to the international office and school registrar of University of Manitoba to put them on notice that you have indeed made your payment for your application fee and quote your receipt number.

If you have done all these, then, there shouldn't be any need to worry on your ends. It will surely end in praise.

Thank you very much. I sent a mail to the department.

I'll also send to the school registrar like you suggested. Thank you for your advice.

Yes, got the status update and a "Correspondence letter" that I think is the LOI.
But, hmm, are you sure VFS is responsible? 'cos one their mails said we should "buy services" for the return courier on their site.
Was thinking I should stay calling them to return it, cos I just chatted with @Insanity and he mentioned he paid for 2-way, but had to repay VFS for a fresh return courier. Hopefully, his experience is unique to him.

TheShaman:
Same four (4) mails from VFS then two (2) mails from DoNotReply about changes in my application (LOI and a status update). I believe DHL should receive the Passports today (COB) and back in Lagos tomorrow. VFS Abuja is definitely the best place to send passports to - everything has been less than a week (7 days) so far.

Hello gurus in the house,

I have submitted my application and even started working on the NSE request that was sent to me.

However, I just found out that my sponsor has two plots of lands that she bought about five years ago but she only has receipts and they sum up to #400,000 only.

Can I raise a webform for this receipt? Does it not sound like a small amount?

If I can attach it, how do I go about explaining it as a strong financial aid

Looking forward to your responses.

Hello Oluwayemisi0507,

Any tangible property that isn't economically generating revenue can't be counted as POF but rather more sufficient in the aspect of HT.

If you included other good HTs before, I think it may be better to allow your application play out. If not, you can send the receipt ONLY if you had made clear reference of the property in your already submitted letter. Otherwise, I see no reason sending it except you decide to include an LOE for easy clarification of its purpose/relevance to your personal situation and/or application.

You may as well approach a lawyer to help out with the Deed of Purchase/Transfer to support the receipt.

Best of Luck

Do you know that for the past 1 year or more, it's been really difficult to get an Appointment Date for an Interview?

Go checkout the Germany Visa Thread on Nairaland and confirm for yourself.

This is the sad reality for Germany bound immigrants.

Hello sir. Please i need the help of you, Mr Otunba, Mr Frankrobbin and other professionals here.

Please can you or any professional advise on how to get my bank certificate from the bank? The kind of email to send to the bank to request for the certificate. My sponsor is not in town and they asked him to send an email to that effect.

What should be in the email please and how do I get the ticket ID and password from them to send via webform from my end.

Hello Celoexpress,

There is no standard format. He should write a formal letter instructing his financial institution to indulge you with your request of MBS and Reference letter.

The letter should contain your full name, the address of the Canadian embassy, period of his transactional history to be generated, reasons for wanting to generate the MBS and other required personal details. Lastly, the letter should state that with his authorization, the generated MBS and Reference letter should be handed off to you.

Once all formality has been done and all things checked out, you will be handed the hardcopy of the MBS and Reference for your end use.

Thanks for your response. I still have my maiden name on my passport, yet to do change of name. That was why I asked if it will be a problem.

Hello LegitPikin,

It won't still be an issue. In the column of the IMM 1294e Form that requires you to fill your name, input your new surname in the column that asks for any other name known as or referred to.

Ensure to spell this clearly in your letter.

Hello Everyone.

Can someone explain the marked out line and paragraph on the screenshot?

I'm particularly concerned about the December 15, 2020 part, where they explained that applications received before that date would be processed via the 2 stage format we all know.

I'm asking if applications received after that date would be processed via the regular study permit process as I've underlined, and what this process is all about.

Lastly I don't know if these updates have been there and I didn't just Notice.
I'll appreciate all responses.

Goodmorning people,

Please I applied in September,2020 through an agent who refused to give me my login details for a very long time . I finally got my login details from her last week after a lot of insults and all.

When I checked my portal, I discovered NSE request was sent to me on 13th of November, 2020 but this Evil woman didn’t tell me until 2nd of December, 2020 giving me 11 days to submit as deadline was 13th of December, 2020. I was so angry when I found out .

The main issue now is, I haven’t gotten any update from IRCC till now and I went ahead booking my medical date which is next Tuesday. Please how can I submit this medical result without consulting the agent?. She has the email address she uses for the application with her . I was only given the login details. Please is there any way I can do it without telling her.

My resumption is 18th of January,2021 and no update. Please I need your advice.

Thank you

Hello Elizdee,

Raised a webform when you have the e-medical slip. Its a straightforward process.

If you intend to switch to a new email address, use the form webform also to advise IRCC of the change in your contact details.

Hello my people,
Pls I have searched I have not seen school which I can apply for PGC in Electrical engineering with my Electrical engineering HND. I was directed to Conestoga and Fanshawe College but they don't have direct Electrical engineering PGC.

Pls you guys should help. School that offer electrical engineering PGC in Canada

Hello Simyowe,

To the best of my knowledge, you're likely to get (Fast-Track) Advanced Diploma program for Electrical Engineering course in colleges in lieu of a PGD/C.

If Fanshawe and ConestogaC don't have it, shift your focus to other closely related courses.

You can check Lambton College for their Graduate Certificate in:

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Quality Engineering Management
Wireless Networking

These programs have co-op.

Good morning House,

Please I need clarification b4 I submit my study application online. My child of 3years old has a valid Canadian Tourist visa to expire in August 2022. Do I still need to apply for him again since he will be going with me to Canada for my study and I know children up to 5years are issued visitor visa to accompany their parents for study.

Thank you in anticipation for your response.

Hello NEYOT88,

I hope this is not coming late. However, the Tourist visa can help your child facilitate entry and the status can be changed to a Visitor's Record prior to its expiry.

In addendem: Given the effect of COVID-19, people with Tourist visa may not be allowed entry as it will be classified as a non-essential travel to Canada. If the vaccines works and the effect of COVID subsides, maybe Canada would open their borders to all type of visa holder prior before you plan to travel–hopefully.

If the above make sense to you, then you may just consider applying for a VV for your child and when its approved it get stamped into the existing PP as the valid authorization. If it happens the processing went sideways and if the effect of COVID-19 has gradually subsided, then your child could travel with the Tourist visa IF Canada already opens her borders.

BTW, the bolded must be applied for and its not automatically issued.

Best of Luck

Hi everyone,
I applied to the University of Manitoba for a graduate program in Fall 2021. I completed my application yesterday after being delayed by my Professor.
I attempted to pay the application fee with my debit card and with Barter to no avail. Finally, I tired Paymytuition.com as recommended by the school.
Payment went through and I'm told it will take 3_5 days to send it to the school.
Application deadline is on the 15th of this month.
I have sent an mail to the school telling them of my situation.
Looking for advise here on my situation. Thank you

Hello Sleeveheart,

I think it takes 48hrs for PayMyTuition to have your payment transmitted to your DLI. As long as PMT receive your payment before the deadline date, it doesn't apply.

If possible, you can have the acknowledgement of the payment by PMT sent to your email forwarded to your to the admissions office as heads up.

Hello Deommanuel,

The information has been there for most. This was the Approval-in-Principal (AIP) processing which once had a September 15th, 2020 deadline. I believe due to the effect of COVID-19 spike, IRCC became lenient with the rules thereby now having the deadline as on or before December 15th, 2020.

What this mean is, applicants whose application falls within this timeframe may be getting AIP before the final approval stage.

We can still see IRCC leniency with the former International students on expired or soon to expire PGWP who couldn't gather work exprience points enough to apply for PR due to COVID-19. IRCC also gave them January 27th - July 27th, 2021 to apply for a new OWP that would allow them work up to 18 months.

The eligible candidates are thise former International students whose PGWP expired on or before January 30th, 2020 or will be expiring 4 months or less to the application date.

Cheers!

Applications are done online, so you're not to download or send any form.
Most schools don't ask more than transcript and certificate.

Besides, start your application first to know what more you need... Most of your questions are not required if you check the sites of schools you're planning to apply to.
ok thanks

Dear Client,

Thank you for your e-mail.

We understand that your classes may start in January and you are anxious to have your application finalized, however please be patient and routinely check your online account for updates. Please note that Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) are continuing to offer all classes online. For the time being, we are expediting decisions for all students with a January intake who have completed all necessary steps (including biometric enrolment and medical examination) and are destined to a designated learning institute with an approved covid-19 readiness plan. Students destined to a DLIs without a COVID-19 readiness plan will not be prioritized at this time, as these students are not exempt from the travel restrictions and will not be able to enter Canada at this time.

You can also verify the status of your application through your IRCC secure account to find out if any additional information has being requested.
