Can someone please make available the exact statements of Bishop Kukah here. I've not read it and I wonder what it is about the message that everybody is calling for his head.

Even as a Muslim that I am, Bishop Kukah is one of the few people I consider true and honest leaders in this country. I love him for his integrity,honesty and sense of commitment to the development and peaceful coexistence of Nigeria/ns.

I don't think Kukah would say anything that's capable of inciting religious violence. He must have been misunderstood.

They are two different matters.

First of all, Fulanis are allowed to go about their businesses unhindered. However if they abuse their own rights of movement in such a way that it infringes on the rights of a fellow Nigerian, there would be problems.

But in the case of Kukah, he has not infringed on anyone's rights.

If anyone feels insulted by what Kukah said, they can seek redress under the law.

Making criminal threats is not the way a sane person resolves a purely civil matter.

Anyone who feels gravely insulted by what Kukah said can sue the man.

It is as simple as that.
