Nice.
I hope more indigenous pilots will be employed, and sponsored for their type ratings.

And it's time they have cadet programs for interested aviators.

This is a private investment and these guys secured a contract for the order of 50 A220 aircraft from Airbus last year.

https://www.airbus.com/newsroom/press-releases/en/2020/02/airbus-and-green-africa-announce-strategic-partnership-with-mou-for-50-a220s.html

They're starting with 50 aircraft, all airbus.

Omo this ones mean business. I don't think any other privately owned airline owns that much aircraft presently. I stand to be corrected tho

The comments above though. Negativity everywhere. Anyways, great developments from the aviation space as competition would make the sector thrive.

I am not sure why people are sceptical of this. If you read one of the infrastructural development documents publicized during the Jonathan era, it outlined Nigeria becoming the flight hub of West Africa. This is why we are seeing the likes of this new airlines, Ibom Air and Air Peace.

Let's see how event unfold in the coming months.

Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is not an order or contract. This is a scam.

You need more than new airports to become regional flight hub. What is the MRO status across Nigeria airport.

Ghana airways down,

By their scepticisms you should knw who they are and where they are from

In as much as the CEO is from SW never expect any good comment from them

Had it been the CEO is from potopoto republic then be rest assured they will not hesitate to commend the project

Hatred nd bitterness is in Their DNA

Stop saying nonsense.

Will Airbus join in the scam too?

Go and check the profile of the investors of Green Airways and you will understand the picture.

By the way, who are they going to scam?

They are not starting with 50 they signed an mouth doesn't equate to getting 50 all at once...after all we only have like 3 or 4 profitable routes in Nigeria at the moment

I assume it was another scam to loot untill i go through the post and i realize its a private own. Just like Ibom Air which is privately own but use state name to operate.

At least it will generate employment to people.

This is type of the people I was referring too

Every projects that doesn't emanate from either SE/SS is generally regarded as fake or unproductive by our self acclaimed developerss.

By your irrational conception, its only Air peace that must monopolize airline in Nigeria so tht when Nigeria disintegrate we in SW would keep depending on Air peace ba?
