RuudVanNisteroy:

You are wrong about Nigerian youths being spoilt, entitled and 'professional job" orientated. Majority of youths are looking for side hustles and some have become entreprenuers and quit their jobs after gaining the relevant professional experience, that will help them run their own businesses.

The employment market is unstable and you can lose your job at anytime, and majority have come to realize that working 9-5 everyday for the next 30 to 40 years, with the current state of job insecurity is a dangerous gamble.
like how much should I budget if i want to go for a bachelor degree programme in Canada or is it okay to go for bachelor's degree in Nigeria and master's degree in Canada?

Some of them are at an age (over 35 years) where it is very difficult for them to migrate to a developed country like Canada and Germany, so their hobby is to discourage anybody that has a realistic chance of emigrating out of Nigeria.

Then we have those that are actually living in USA and Canada, but still come online to discourage Nigerians.

SocialJustice:
Fat lie oooo. Leave people to make their choices. This new habit of discouraging potential travellers is stupid. Mind your business.

If it takes one to four years to get certifications and establish myself, it is worth it because countries like Canada, Switzerland and Germany are better to live in than Nigeria.

RuudVanNisteroy:

What the OP posted is 100% fact!It takes one to four years to get yourself established, as a new immigrant.

When you arrive in Canada you can only get blue collar jobs such as cashier, bus driver, labourer at warehouse and sales associate jobs that pay minimum or slightly above the minimum wage.

You either have to go back to school for for at least a year or do all your certifications again if you're in accounting, medical, engineering or law field. It pays off in the long-term though and even if your a bus driver your standard of living is better than majority of people in Nigeria.

You should budget N15-N20 million($60,000-$80000) for international tuition fees, accomodation and personal expenses. You can reduce the total cost if you work part-time during the academic year and full-time during the summer break(May-June).

It is easier to obtain PR from Nigeria after gaining work experience if you don't have the funds for a bachelor degree program. I think the financial requirement for a single applicant is around N3.2 million.

Nobody cares about Nigerian women in Canada. There's so many different options of women, minus the attitude. In fact Nigerian women to Nigerian men are seen as local. While other women are seen as foreign. Foreign products always get more attention

@OP enough of shaming hard working people. There is dignity in labour.
Not everyone will make it to the "top" abroad and that's ok as most will never make it in Nigeria either.... Relocating abroad is not a "get rich quick" scheme..

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with being a blue collar worker. Some Nigerians simply have a closed-off mindset. There are skilled plumbers and electricians living a good life in Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Yeah [quote author=RuudVanNisteroy post=98036002]
I am not sure about all the details and guidelines on how the TFWP program works. I only know previously it was tied to the employer that sponsored you and were unable to change jobs or work for another employer unless when you got your PR. They made a recent change that if you lost your job due to the COVID pandemic with the employer that sponsored you or if they went bankrupt, you were free to find another employer to sponsor you for a closed work permit.

You are free to apply for PR if you meet the requirements and receive an ITA to apply for permanent residency under Provincial nomination,Canadian Experience Class stream and Federal Skilled Trade program.

Hope that answers your question.
Thank you very much boss,I appreciate....

I didn't realize you didn't have a Bachelor degree, which is a minimum requirement if you want to stand a good chance getting a ITA to apply for express entry or a provincial nomination.

Canada immigration is a point based system and you're competing in a global pool with applicants from all over the world. You have to have more than the minimum requirements required in the language test(IELTS,CELPIP,TOEFL),work experience and education to have a good chance to get an invitation to apply for permanent residence.

Your best bet if you don't have a Bachelor degree is to look into applying for the provincial nomination. It is for people like you that don't have a Bachelor degree, which puts you at a disadvantage in the Express Entry, but still gives you a good change of being nomination by a province in Canada based on your occupation if it is in high demand.

What is your current occupation in UAE?

Nigerian women are actually more transparent, easy to read and are part of the successful immigrant stories in the country. Foreign women are more politically correct, even if they hate you and are racist will still smile in your face and that is how they deceive you fresh of the boat(FOB) Nigerians into worshipping them and slamming your own country women.

Which nasty attitude?I have found most of the Nigerian men that complain are angry at the fact most Nigerian women want a man that doesn't cheat, willing to share the household chores and works a professional job.

This same men that say Nigerian women have nasty attitudes will cook and clean up after their foreign women, but can't do the same for their fellow country women. They are what Americans call coons, foreign women worshippers, based on the colour of their skin. Which foreign woman will cook and clean for them after working the same 8 hour working day and also take care of their children? They let foreign women get away with so many things, they won't tolerate with Nigerian women, I hate their double standards and hypocrisy.

Foreign women don't expect you to pay for every date, pay for uber when they visit you or play stupid games with you. Foreign women are straight forward and help out with finances. It's no surprise or coincidence that most naija women are unmarried. Living abroad is enough stress, nobody want join am with naija girl wahala. Some naija girls are happily married though especially those in a relationship right from Nigeria. I would rather Bleep with a naija girl that grew up here, never with the ones that moved here as adults. Their perception of life is full of entitlements and greed. That's my experience though

It is your choice to go for those kind of women that expect you to pay for every date, only a minority of Nigerian women are like that..Why not go for professional working women that can pay their own way. I have found they are independent, willing to split the bill, take turns to pay the bill on the next date. You will find out some of them even earn more income than you working as nurses, doctors or engineers.
