Take a chill pill ooo Competition is needed in this industry. The more the airlines the lower the fares. The business is ever profitable even now as fares have doubled what they used to be. All the best to any airline that wants to come on board abeg. Queenlovely: 2 Likes |

Queenlovely:Delta airways is american, american airlines is american, spirit airlines is american, virgin atlantic is american and so on Air peace isn't our national carrier so isn't the others I stated above except american airlines I do think it would put a lot of local airlines out of business but I think sir peace should merge with it and the owner should be a share holder in the new national carrier, it'll be stupid competing with a government backed carrier 1 Like |

Interesting times ahead, Azman plans expansion with more planes, United Nigeria airlines is about starting fully as well as two other carriers I hear. At least this will create jobs for both skilled and unskilled individuals. 2 Likes |

DisGuy: I'm aware all 50 won't be released but having such large projection for a start up is commendable. And with all the necessities done on their part, Airbus will deliver. Also, they can get license to operate within africa. Really doubt they're just starting off with such MoU for routes within the nation |

Fisiryorh:I looked at your profile and I wonder which Nigeria airways you are talking about! The one that flies at night? At day? The one that does inter state or the one that flies people abroad? I know u feel like talking but while at it, be sensible cos I don't even get the mesaage you are talking about than your parents worked in an abandoned airways... Take out your parents frustration on the government and pls, get something to eat cos insulting you will be an insult to your condition... Those parents you are proud to showcase their non essential achievements did a very poor job training an idiot with no sense.. Find something to eat and stop being a Nuisance... I aired my opinion, you can air yours as others have done without being stupid like you've just done |

Bettykeys: Please don't pair us with the South east! As an Ijaw man I have a lot in common with the Igbo just as I have with the Yoruba or I don't have much in common with the Igbo just as I don't have with the Yoruba. When Nigeria had 3 regions the Ijaw nation belonged to the defunct eastern and western region. 2 Likes |

Queenlovely: Are you saying this out of ignorance or you are one of those who don't want the country to progress for real? Why would any govt invest in a private airline instead of having theirs and also why should any govt invest in a private airline whose owner is been accused of fraud and money laudering, the Ethiopians, Americans, Canadians, Chinese etc all have theirs so why shouldn't Nigeria or that doesn't count as progress? When you can answer this questions then your point becomes valid else you saying trash. |

Queenlovely: Airline business is not a profitable one even prior to covid . It is also very capital intensive which brings to question the idea behind this green Africa airways . They want to launch wirh ATR-72 in a country where people generally fear flying in propeller aircrafts. I’m anxious to know the financiers . |

Re: New Nigerian Airline To Begin Operations by abnot: 8:59pm On Jan 15, 2021 |
Thecvbankng: Signing of MOU means nothing does not equate a firm order. When you sign a firm order then we know a deal has been signed. Aviation business is very capital intensive and one Airbus 220 cost about $80 million . When airpeace was about to launch its operations in 2014 they bought 7 aircrafts at once and parked it for months while trying to secure AOC. The aircrafts they bought were the 737 classics (older generation 737) which they used to penetrate the market and gain some ground. It’s just recently they placed order for new generation embraer planes . My guess is the 50 A220s will be delay over a number of years 1 Like |
