Very useless airline... A friend of mine was to travel on Monday 7:30am... He bought their ticket on Saturday only for them to send email on Sunday night that the flight has been cancelled and moved to 12:30pm....the had to rescheduled for Tuesday.... only for them to cancel it on Tuesday morning... That the people in charge of that airline...

The airline should be blamed. The "what if" responsibility is for d airline to deal with. They just need to properly communicate with d passengers, probably give them food or maybe lodge them at least.
That would make them earn respect and high patronage too.

Imagine someone who had 2 travel from Bauchi to kano just 2 catch a Thursday flight only 4 d person 2 sleep in tge airport, wait till Friday evening.... And then cancelled.

That Kano airport is notorious for flight cancellations.
Suffered a similar fate in early Dec with Arik airline but this time around d story was not about cancellation but that the flight was overbooked.
Was even this Azman air that came to the rescue though at a very costly price of 95k.

Those airlines you mentioned will rarely cancel a flight at the point of checking in.
Rather,they will send you messages or call you well ahead of time so you won't stress yourself coming to the airport and you can have time to make other arrangements in case you are in a hurry or have very important stuff to do.
