I just didn't want to quote the guy directly. To say someone endangered his life because of noisy suspension is terribly shocking. For the sake of peace and sanity in this thread we just can't start another aimless argument.

So you think suspension noises are not life threatening? I seriously pity you and hope you don't learn the hard way one day.

I was once using an 07 accord V6. During some routine maintenance, the mechanic noticed that the driver side lower camber bushing was torn so he suggested replacement which we did.

Few weeks later, I started hearing some suspension noises on the vehicle especially when I climb over a bump or drive along a bad road. I took it to him, he checked and said everything was in order so I ignored the noise till one day I took the vehicle with madam and my son to visit my inlaws in Ibadan.

As I crossed over the railway around Shoprite in Dugbe, I heard a loud noise from the front end, managed to pull the vehicle over to one side, got a mechanic to check, turns out the bolt holding the camber bushing had pulled off. The luck I had was that, it happened when I was already in town and my speed had really reduced.

Imagine if that had happened at 100km/hr on third mainland bridge as I crossed the joints. What do you think would have happened? Not all accidents are caused by wrong overtaking or over speeding, many are also caused by suspension failures and blown tires.

I have learnt my lesson and will never drive a vehicle with any suspension noise whatsoever and also well within my rights to rate any driver who does anyhow I deem fit.

This is not the right time to run your car several hours to make little, l will advice you do light hustle to feed, pay up bills and expenses till the business comes back to normal. Car maintenance and repair outweighs that daily 10k net when issues arises. I have spent close to 300k this January on car repairs. Let's be wise.

Atan is a place I go to once a while. I was there last in December last year and my usual route is through kola. If the state of the road is what it is the last time I went there then I am fine as long there's no rain.

What are you trying to say in essence, that partners should imcrease rental to 30k-35k? Or call for their car?

My brother, what do we do when the light hustle can barely cover expenses.

Hopefully, by the time this car will be needing 300k worth of repairs, I would have passed it over to someone else.

Well It all boils down to the car you re driving. Kola and Alakuko was filled several deep large potholes the day I went to Sango. The bottom of my car was just hitting the ground, after that trip i swear never to go there again. Muscle is very low compare to other cars. If your car is high enough to navigate that bad road, its fine.

Better still Ekoro route to Sango is better, road smooth and tarred

Next time you go there please no let that useless traffic for that slope meet you if not na premium tears you go cry that day.

Advise from a friend.

grin Buying another car is not same price u get before. Tokunbo and new cars are almost double the price now. Things are very expensive now my brother. If ordinary parts replacement can gulp 300k. How much more Odin Odin Moto, grin

Well u r right, but on the second tot, if 10k can b certain in a day, let's say 6 days for 60k in a week. That's 240k in a month, let's say 70k for gas, we have 170k.... I will pick this option and dare whatever chooses to spoil in the car, then spending from grey money.

I am not advocating for increase in rents, There two options on the part of Car owners, is either they call off their cars till the business returns to normal or they reduce their rents. If I happen to be in their shoes I will call off my cars. To maintain car no be beans. Now I truly know what it feels to maintain one.

This route I am talking about is okay. The road sweet die until you get to ojuore. Alakuko I think is towards Alagbado, I don't have any business going that route. I will be going through abesan/command.
