which kind online poll be this. .....for sure power must move to the south except we all tired of Nigeria. ...instead, the online poll would have been; should power shift to the southeast in 2023?

Continue fooling yourself. The journey to the Presidency, for any candidate, starts with winning the PDP or APC ticket via Presidential primaries.

You people should concern yourselves more with how Igbos can scale this insurmountable hurdle than shouting "Yorubas have had their turn" up and down.

PDP ticket is for a Fulani. 100% for sure. Meanwhile all the garbage Kalu and Umahi are doing in the APC is mere window dressing for their Fulani born-to-rule masters in the Party who coerced them to join APC to be spoilers against the Tinubu camp.

APC ticket is for a Yoruba candidate and PDP ticket is for a Northerner. Face that reality and change it at Party caucus level, if you can, or accept the Igbos will be bystanders in the 2023 election.

PDP na Igbo wahala but the reality of APC is what happens when deserving folks, Northerners and Yorubas, pay their dues at all levels to build a conquering machine and platform while shameless Igbo usurpers come at the last hour to try and reap where they have not sown.

No one will let Igbos get away with that in APC and their Fulani puppet masters deceiving Kalu, Umahi etal will soon be dealt with alongside their treacherous Igbo slaves. Neither God nor politics reward what Igbos are trying to do in APC. Mark my word.

Yoruba and tribalism

Unfortunately this one still the put north and Yoruba for same sentence grin
A ship that has set sail long.. is like Yoruba love sleeping on a speeding bike.

Even akande and Tinubu won’t make this statement

See am average Yoruba brain ... very insecure people ... that Yoruba god and Yoruba politics will be disappointed
No Yoruba man will rule this country again

Mark this word...

Even the Yoruba presidency... how many Nigerians are in support? Which other ethnic group apart from Yoruba Muslims is supporting or we’ve heard supporting Yoruba presidency

Yoruba think say na before Yoruba propaganda Dey sell.. gone are those days..

Tinubu has been sidelined by the north ... he’s Oshiomole stooge caged .. and any other stooge will be caged.

Tinubu must contest Apc primaries.. same with Osibanjo ..
failure to do that for whatever purposes confirms the cowardly and deceptive nature of Yoruba people

No excuses .. no stories

Yoruba is going back to opposition and this time nobody will takes them serious..
Nigerians have seen Yoruba and Nigerians have also confirmed
Yoruba don’t have Level..

No be by media noise that have been outdated for even pastoral Fulani in bushes .. Bororo .. are now well informed.

Oga nothing will happen.. Yoruba is well know to Nigerians and no one wish to be under a Yoruba man

No Nigerian tribe trust a Yoruba tribe..

And Yoruba knows this.. for even a Yoruba man .. don’t trust his fellow Yoruba

You can write an epistle from here to Punjab, it doesn't change the fact that your fate as a yoruba is not not better than the East. If the East won't have the presidency, yorubas are also not going to have it. You have taken your turn through OBJ and Osibanjo.
Infact a delay in Eastern presidency elongates the time for yoruba presidency. You have never made a yorubaman president, many have been president without yoruba votes which have been largely proven to be useless according to historical records..

So stop pretending that you are more fortunate than the East in the electoral scheme of things.

Read what I told your brothers who are lamenting about buhari's nepotism on this thread, because he didn't fill everywhere with you yorubas who have deceived yourselves that you are smarter than everyone else for donkey years. grin

2023 will shock you beyond the current level of shockability. There will be NO yoruba president in 2023. . grin

Most Yoruba are not smart at all...

They all think Nigeria is Yoruba land.. same thinking and mouth relegated Tinubu and his boys .. from party leaders to now wandering leaders

Do you know that Tinubu can’t visit VILLA? In fact since 2019 .. 4 months after election

He now visits north .. grin. While north and the government he formed visit KALU..

And when a former governor of nassarawa visited .. they publicized it and even celebrated it ..as if the man na powerful stakeholder..

Yoruba people are desperate .. especially that criminal in Lagos.. the god of all Yoruba people .. a thief .. might thief ..

2023.. some go Dey laugh .. others no go see place hide face

Mumu, I have made it clear we begin with gaining the APC ticket, which we will, and then mobilizing from that point onwards. What is the plan of you Igbo to begin with your strategy to get APC or PDP ticket? Lol.

Deal with that first otherwise you Igbos are like a man with no get dick dey discuss coitus with other men. Lol.

Lol.Olodo stubborn Goat. Just explain how Igbos will get APC ticket since the PDP ticket has already been reserved for the North as per the very same openly accepted reality that made Umahi leave the Party.

Tell us, if you know internal composition and workings of the APC, vis a vis the strength of the North and Yorubas within the Party, the sort of miracle that will take place to gift an Igbo the Party's Presidential ticket. Lol.

If Igbos want to eat they should help to prepare the meal. I don't know how long it will take for you treacherous and dishonorable people to accept this important consideration.

You Igbos will soon learn that there are no free meals in life and especially not politics.

See gibberish from Yoruba man.. and you say Sophistication! grin

Those ganging up against Tinubu in APC have absolutely no plan to give Umahi or any south easterner the ticket. They are looking at Goodluck Jonathan and Kayode Fayemi because they know giving the ticket to a northerner is impossible. So, I don’t get why our south friends are so happy about the politics playing out in APC. PDP ticket is in Atiku’s pocket and APC ticket is out of reach. So, their plan is to muddle things up for the south west and they will fail as usual.

Indeed. I have said it myself that Umahi, Kalu etal are mere "window dressing" spoilers. Even they themselves know it.

You are also spot on that the North wants a malleable and mumu Southerner they can control like Jonathan or Fayemi.

Everyone knew Buhari was an uncompromising hardliners. Yet Tinubu and Yorubas democratically and wholeheartedly supported the then GMB to be President.

They brought down previously insurmountable walls to accomplish a PMB win. Buhari won no Yoruba State in 2011 yet cleared all SW State, bar Ekiti, in 2015 with Tinubu and virtually all Yoruba leaders behind him.

We have showed we play politics loyally, honorably and with principles. The North should simply support whoever the Yorubas themselves want be it Tinubu or Osinbajo.

It is as simple as that because this is not 1979 where they got the likes of OBJ to trip up Awolowo for the incompetent stooge Shagari. A lot need to be corrected with the fundamental structure of Nigeria that the North will be the biggest victim of. They know this and that is why they are searching for a weak Southerner they can control.

The approach is two-pronged. Neutralize Tinubu, Osinbajo or any Aregbe/Fashola independent-minded type. Identify and support a weak-minded and controllable non-Igbo stooge from the south to install in power.

Will not work.

I have come to realize that yorubas are the tribe with the worst sense of equity and fairness, not even the North. Even Prof Zulum have come to throw his weight for the presidency to move to the South East especially while yorubas are opposing it.

The yorubas have a vulturistic attitude and believe that the political success of the Igbos is a failure on their part and political failure of Ndigbo means it's time to feast on Igbo carcass, since the days of Awolowo. It's time to tame them.

Lol. You Igbos are so self-delusional and disconnected from reality it is frigging unreal.

No one trust or like Yorubas yet we are not afraid to square up to anyone in an electoral popularity contest and have never mentioned the PDP Presidential ticket.

Yet you Igbos who are liked and trusted are all witnessing your leaders begging both APC and PDP to cede their ticket to you. Only a fool will not know this is because your leaders realize Igbo man can never win if he contests against a Northern, Yoruba or even SS candidate. That's why they are pleading on bended knees for APC and PDP ticket as the only way to ensure an Igbo emerges President.

Obvious your leaders know Igbos are not liked and cannot win any national election, to lead all Nigerians, even if you want to deceive yourself the opposite is the case. Lol. You guys are the biggest and most delusional clowns in Nigeria I swear.

[s]Brilliant!!! Times like this, with the careless attendant comments from you Igbos, shows the people of the SE are a patently dishonorable, dishonest, deceitful and unprincipled lot who will always put their personal profit above doing/supporting the right and just things in life.

To you it is right and just for Tinubu's effort to make "unlectable" Buhari and the North gain the Presidency, at a time incumbent GEJ held sway and was distributing billions of dollars to Dasuki etal, to be thrown aside because some undeserving upstarts and ingrate Northern hawks, who contributed zilch to where Buhari and the North finds itself today, deem it so?

Comments like this shows you Igbos are very wicked, unprincipled and ready to support unjust behaviour to others so long as you profit through your unprincipled political prostitutes like Umahi, Kalu, Obi etal who are a true reflection of the Igbo people.

I just hope some foolish Yorubas supporting an Igbos Presidency, for the sake of "equity", are watching and learning to note that equitable and just behaviour, towards everyone, is the last thing on the mind of the average Igbo.

Let us keep watching. All I know is that Yorubas are an important, determined and principled enough ethnic group capable of making the North regret any open treachery against Tinubu who did what he had to do to help the North gain power when called upon by same North that was very aggrieved "usurper" GEJ stole power along with his southern and treacherous Northern conspirators.

We are not valueless like Igbos and the North always show they know this. That is what is responsible for this nonsense where the whole Nigeria is focused alone on the candidacy of Tinubu and that of no one else.

Even you Igbos, with your constant talk of Tinubu ahead of selling your own candidate, know what the Yorubas truly are though you will always be loathe to admit it. Tinubu has not declared yet many are working for him feverishly online and offline. My God spare us all so we live beyond 2023.[/s]

Ogbeni, if you like cry blood, you yorubas are not smelling that presidential seat in 2023.
You have proven to have the worst sense of fairness and equity in this country.
Almost short of throwing owambe when a political misfortune befalls others in the south and yet want to drag others to fight for yoruba interests when you are on the receiving end. Fa fa fa foul!

That your vulturistic appetite for the downfall of others will be weaned off you going forward. It is either presidency comes to South East or the North keeps it. Why? Because it is the rightful turn of the SouthEast and yorubas have had their turn. It is non-negotiable.

The God of justice is not mocked!

Even with zoning it still falls to us. Power rotates between North and South. When it is the turn of the North they can hash it out amongst themselves who flies the flag. Whether North East, North Central etal is not our business in the South.

Same with the turn of the South. Let Southerners work out who should represent the South. If no agreement is secured amicably and unanimously then let Southerners simply fight for the APC and PDP ticket. The North have disqualified Igbos from the PDP ticket yet they won't object against that injustice.

Meanwhile the APC is throwing its ticket open to all. Yoruba, SE and SS. Still yet the Igbos who arrived yesterday and brought nothing other than the shirt on their back want Yorubas and others excluded so they are given the APC ticket automatically without challenge from others.

We dey laff.

Am not same .. no Dey feel insecure... eve mods go Dey reason you by now.

I’m living my life fully... no sad past .. and his grace none in my future..

Personally, I’m more of a Northern President come 2023 with igbo Vice..
And by his grace.. that’s wht will be obtained.

The rot caused by APC has gone beyond redemption and north has to be stable .. otherwise the south won’t

A Northern elite with less religious toga ,proven economic and developmental stride will secure north.. stabilize it and handover Nigeria to an igboman..

Any President coming in 2023 will suffer, even if he delivers .. the rot and damage Apc has done to this country will take Nigeria another 17 years to get it to where Jonathan left it.. and another 10 years to move forward.

We’re on different plane..

Mark this word

Walahi .. Allah fa..

It will take a century before Nigeria will witness a Yoruba President again after OBASANJO

That de tribalise Yoruba man have never been born and might not.

Yoruba are about journeying in political wilderness.. of maybe .. no return.

Status quo of 1960 is being oiled and maintained

Tinubu will go the ways of his forbears.. AWO ABIOLA AFONJA . and many unmentioned that were victims of foolishness .

Igbo President is here already.. if igbos keep their act together.. is already theirs..
Much closer to them than any tribe.

But personally I will still go for North.

Are you high this Sunday morning? There I was thinking I am talking to an Igbo ready to defend his ethnic group's right to the Presidency.

Instead you are a Fulani lackey who want them to continue after 8 years of PMB. Are you okay? I personally do not want an Igbo Presidency but I would support such ahead of a Northern Presidency. Thesheer lunacy of what you are suggesting !!!!

Let's even forget zoning and talk competence. What Northerner do you know today that will truly liberalize processes and deliver institutional, state and regional autonomy which will allow every corner of Nigeria develop at their own pace knowing this will mean serious 'teething pain' for the North?

Buhari was the last 'game changer' Northerner I will ever support or campaign for till the south rules for at least 8 uninterrupted years. Yes I want a Yoruba 2023 President but I am not a lunatic to prefer the North remain in power rather than an Igbo become President, if it cannot be Yoruba, because the South cannot keep indulging the North.

How much more evidence do we need to understand that all Northern candidate will continue with the gradualism and conservatism of their predecessors to Nigeria's detriment?

I supported Buhari but truth has to be told. Insecurity, for example, is a deliberate refusal of Buhari and his pro-North cabal to facilitate the groundwork to back State policing which would mean every serious Nigerian State can secure herself with modern, functional and proactive policing. I have no doubt at all the SW will rise to the challenge if given State policing powers.

Yet I am convinced this will never happen under a Northerner because central control of the police is profitable to the North so they will never allow State policing. This is all to the detriment of us in the South.

The South has given the North it's fair chance to reform and reposition Nigeria.blet them hand over to a competent and independent-minded Southerner in 2023 even if an Igbo. The North must not continue in power and you have issues for suggesting they do.

Every sensible person in this country especially the fulanis and hausas in the North knows that a Yoruba presidency in 2023 will distabize this country and make the call for Biafra more popular

Yorubas have had their turn if 2023 comes and Yorubas and ibos refuse to settle their beef with one another

They will simply handover power to a south southerner under the guise that they have only ruled 4 years therefore they should be given another 4 years

In this Yoruba greed for presidency igbos and Yorubas will eventually lose out

I still find it difficult to understand why yorubas are so obsessed about becoming president.

Wetin becoming president they do for ona body sef ?

This you people obsession is what brought this clueless buhari government

Who is afraid of Northerners? Certainly not Yorubas. Northerners can do what they want in the PDP. Their Party their rules and certainly their candidate.

Very different in the APC. In the APC, No Northerner can defeat Tinubu or his anointed to get the Party ticket. The Fulani born-to-rule hawks in the Party know this and this is why they are desperately trying to use treacherous Igbo turncoats like Umahi, Kalu etal.

Mai Mala Buni is openly showing this fear talking about "we won't let one powerful individual hijack the APC" . How can Tinubu be hijacking the APC demanding what he is qualified to vie for by dint of his hardwork and contribution to the Party's success?

Buni should tell us who he was in 2013 and 2014 and state precisely what he delivered to make the Party what it is today that warrants him making these disrespectful and asinine noise. Nonsense.

Meanwhile note the words of the Northerners in APC who have real clout and are insisting power must go to the South when, minus politically correct talk, they mean power must go to the South West.

Those influential Northernerss have already decided. They were in the battle trenches with Yorubas in 2013 and 2014, while Igbos cursed and insulted the APC, so forget the premature and doomed antic of upstarts like Buni etal. No one will allow them carry the day.

Power is going South, and beyond rhetoric and sentiments, Tinubu is still the most trusted Southern ally of the traditional and conservative North so forget what the naive young turks are doing.

It is like Fayemi splashing around like a drowning animal with his delusional Presidential ambition not a single sagacious Yoruba political player has come out to support yet literally hundreds of those folks are all matching up and down for Tinubu when the man has not even said anything.

You should be paying me for all this free politics 101 tuition you are getting lol. Sentiments and hate does not win Party Primaries and only you Igbos don't know this.

Even if Yorubas get APC presidential ticket

How will you people defeat a northern PDP candidate ?

State police is not practical in today Nigeria.. without restructuring..
Nigeria Governors already have enough constitutional powers.. adding state police will perpetuate them in power and make them lords and demigod .. like asiwaju in Lagos

Reason why I said travel ...
The north is changing.. and will continue..

Development is going on and every Northern state is getting facelift
There’s this new wave of economic ,development ,infrastructure . Awareness .. there’s an urgent urge to develop

Even almajiris are been reposition and religious extremism.

I’m not a Northerner but lived with them for long.. Nigeria can’t get it right without solving the problem of the North.. unless everyone go answer his papa name.. which is not possible for now.. maybe tomorrow.

A southerner, no matter how good he is .. can’t solve the security challenge in the North.. it took Jonathan to settle millitancy in Niger deltA

Buhari is a failure.. from his days as governor of Jos till today .. he has never been of any good outside Islam .. the northern elites despise him..

But the greedy dream of southwest presidency made them chase a good Nigeria with good workable plan of developing Nigeria and brought Buhari
Even the north do curse Buhari... yes! Even the so call Apc stakeholders.. the hated him more now..

If not for greed ... Nigeria would have gone very far with Jonathan administration.. which they North have come to accept this truth .. except for Yoruba people that keep making noise in other to justify their actions..

I support North presidency... because a 2023 southern President won’t achieve much .. status will continue and be funded with more brutality in mind
A Northerner to clean up their mess and a southerner to build..

If the north is not secure .. walahi it won’t take much for the south to be overrun by bandits.. all those amotekun esn won’t make difference if you understand.... except maybe an all out war .. which your southern governors will avoid .. instead they will sacrifice their own children than face Fulani bandits from Africa.

What Nigerians want is peace and progress .. to grow Nigeria and make it investment heaven.. opening up employment opportunities
This can’t happen if there’s insecurity ..

What Yoruba did to Jonathan can and will still be done to a Yoruba President or southern President.. Northerners ain’t looking for allies in the south..
They already have willing ones.. waiting to be called.

Finally to us is not about where one comes from .. like maman daura righty said...
is all about competency.. about ability to restore Nigeria atleast to 2014 Nigeria before Buhari

Is all about Nigeria as a country and Nigerians
