Out of the ones I listed, some of them are still foolishly denying the existence of the virus.

You can not beat your chest and say the lockdown didn't help.

Do you know what the level of spread would have been if there was never a lock-down?

Is the rising case of infection and death not because we are operating business as usual?

Corona no dey kill plenty people, but nobody sabi who e go kill.

Activities should be limited to the barest necessities. Offices should run shifts same as markets. Students should stay at home. If they lose one session, e no go kill them. Afterall the average Nigerian graduate stays at home for upwards of 3 years before he gets a job so what is the rush for.

Since the vaccine would be readily available within the next 6 to 12 months, things can be slowed down in anticipation for such a time when most people especially the most vulnerable would have gotten the vaccine.

Life no get duplicate.
God punish you for this statement.

How many private hospitals and labs are accredited to test for Covid in Kano?
The last time Kano messed up and people were dropping dead like flies, they had to move in resources from Lagos to help Kano.

Na lie abeg how coro na scam
Ask kogi
Did you heard of mass death in the state ?

Sensible government would have restricted flights from countries with new strains of this deadly virus, provide stimulus cheques for the citizens, conduct aggressive testing and imposed a tier 3 lockdown.

But wetin cow man sabi, na anything wey dem tell am.

I blame Nigerians who saw a Kingsley Moghalu, a Sowore, even a thieving Atiku and choose to queued behind a man with 150 barren cows. Who hasn't manage anything successfully in his entire life.

Atiku though is no saint, but Nigerians could have had a better deal. At least e de manage his stolen money well.

See if you wish as a student don't ever resume school we don't give a shit
Talking of session
You dey craze ?
Na two session you want make students miss
Did you know how it would permanently destroy the fragile educational sector
We have to adapt
Closing of schools once again would do more harm than good

So better respect your sorry ass
And better keep the lockdown crap to yourself

Would you prefer to be in the number that dies and have every other person move on with their lives? All this opata you are talking is because you feel you are young and covid won't harm you. If you belonged to the class of people who are termed vulnerable, you won't be talking like this.

[quote author=paulolee post=98171558]lagos is really a big cause for concern....not currently in lag but one of my friend dt stays in yaba said covid is real and he had seen people getting tested and isolated...
thd only difference between lagos and other states is dt lagos gat more labs to run tests and people are getting tested unlike state with fewer labs and their locals stopped testing..[/quo

Did you know nobody has mentioned any name of COVID 19 patients, just like you did, you sed you friend so, why dint you tell him to mention the names? That's what we hear about, who are the ppl? Anonymous! Before we kW it, one or two ppl will come out and say they have COVID 19, as if they won lottery, before we kW it, next week they are negative, but if they are to say its some other ppl that have it, they won't say names, why? Medic etiquettes? Then why do we see pics of accidents victim 's brains on the road, blood, rapist pics, armed robbers, cyber criminals and the likes, why is it that its COVID 19 patients we don't see or their names are withheld? Then there is a problem somewhere.

lockdown didn't really help. We never really had a lockdown, just closed down places our hands could get to. We were barely testing people during that period, filled with directionless policies and full of copy and paste that's still going on now. If we had used the lockdown to increase our capacity × 10 for testing, isolating and treating like some countries did then maybe one would say it was useful but nah as usual Nigeria undecided. A handful of states still didn't have testing facilities, the so called lockdown was partly political with it's legality even questioned. The legality of the lockdown just became muddled with inconsistencies and then it just became clear we didn't know what we were doing. Just reading out what special advisers write down undecided. Lagos could use a proper lockdown rn, but they probably know it's not needed for few reasons and the fact that we just aren't up to the task.
