I just got a new generator today ( GP Elepaq ), and the noise is too much for a new generator. Though i have only used it to power LED bulbs and two ceiling fans.

Is it noise normal?
Will the noise reduce overtime?
Will the noise reduce with load?

Is the product (GP elepaq) a fake ?

Thank you.
low the gen firing from the black + scrow. and fuel rush from the - bronze screw. then the power from the iron + screw. the noise will go down and fuel economy

A modified sine wave inverter can be used for simple systems that don’t have any delicate electronics or audio equipment that may pick up the choppy wave and produce a hum. Old tube TVs and motors with brushes are usually ok with modified sine wave. Your digital clock will likely act funky, and battery rechargers quite often just plain won’t work. Some equipment may seem to be working fine, but may run hotter than with a pure sine wave and reduce the life of it.

Take heed if you’re considering buying a modified square wave inverter to shave a few bucks off your system costs. A whole raft of modern appliances won’t run as well and some not at all on this waveform:

Laser printers, photocopiers, and anything with an electrical component called a thyristor
Anything with a silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR), like those used in some washing machine controls
A few laptop computers
Some fluorescent lights with electronic ballasts
Some battery chargers for cordless tools
Some new furnaces and pellet heaters with microprocessor controls
Digital clocks with radios
Appliances having speed/microprocessor controls (like some sewing machines)
X-10 home automation systems
Medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators
In general, because the total harmonic distortion is higher in modified square wave inverters, motors will run hotter (less efficiently, consuming up to 30% more energy than with pure sine wave inverters), and likely not last as long. Additionally, a modified square wave inverter will often cause a “buzz” to be heard from audio devices and sometimes other appliances like ceiling fans and microwave ovens.

We liken using a modified sine wave inverter to running a car with square wheels versus a pure sine wave inverter like running a car with round wheels. In the first case the ride is going to be awful rough and depending on the sensitivity of the car’s occupants they may not survive the ride.

Prices have gone up, it's better to check out the price at their show rooms now, some Jumia sellers just stamp whatever they like as prices. On the AC part, it's not advisable unless on the inverter type, though someone said here his friend has been using non inverter AC on his for over a year now.

at the bolded. is it 1hp or 1.5hp.

lastly the deferent with inverter and non inverter is the start up surge. also the non inverter off for time to time which create that same startup short surge. during the surge the generator will make a kind of disturbing noise like something that want to knock out. it's similar to that of fridge but ac is worst. but inverter doesn't off to speak with. I really didn't know if this generator will do the trick.

It powers my 1.5 Samsung AC comfortably along side tv and those small gadgets... however, I use it mostly with my 1.5 inverter AC. You have to come see it and then make an offer
the price tag you put is way too high. if 40% can be removed from it. I might consider inspection. similar generator is online for 110k.

You won't get that generator for 110k anywhere except it's fake. The least I'd accept is 73k

The FIRMAN is crested on the engine block, tank, carburetor and other places... I'm not aware the yellow is part of the criteria. Anyways, I'm not selling below. Thanks

The problem is that we can't easily inspect the generator. I bet nobody will sell at that price right now. A friend got his at 100k in 2019. I got mine 130k December 2020.

But if you are gunning for this, buy offline. And make sure Elepaq Yaofeng is clearly crested on the fuel tank, carburetor, and engine block.

bro make I add 5k. I can pick it tomorrow if it meet my expectations particularly the AC. I have a 2.5 kva generator. I haven't tried it with my ac. but I need another generator for business purposes. instead I intend buying a bigger one that will carry my ac. and transfer my 2.5 for the business instead of buying another 2.5

here are my confusion. I don't want to regret buy another generator that cannot power my ac and fridge at a time. durably and comfortably without any stress or damage to it.

What's the size of your fridge?
It carries my 130L or so, thermocool fridge and the 1.5 AC and then lighting points, TV and home theatre...sometimes I even add PS3 to the load but most of the time, I put off the fridge as I always want to conserve fuel.

However, that 73k na dash bros. You need come see watin u wan buy... I can count how many times I use the gen and it's always for short periods.
