That is the way bolt has dubiously structured the rating system. I explained it in detail in the link below. You may want to read it.

Eventually, you will experience rapid rise in your rating but it will take some time and you have to be careful not to get another below 5 rating.

Rating is not fixed on bolt. Your years with them too matter. You can be 5.0 today and the next few hrs, 4.7.Riders dont understand the magnitude of rating carelessly. Reason someone with just 3 days, will drop that bad. I have been with Bolt for about 2 years now with different experiences of rating. At some pont, I got banned for 5 months all cos of low rating. I eventually bounced back and even got 5.0 again. Few days ago, I was on 4.95.as I type now, I'm on 4.83.any rating below 5 stars from riders usually drop driver's rating.

Annoying part is that most riders don't rate. Some of them only rate when they have something against you. It is really bad since the stars accumulate before your final rating is determined. Bolt really needs to sensitise riders on this. Unfortunately, they don't bloody care.

A lady once gave me a 1 star cus I didn't chat with her all through the ride, even though she was singing to the music I was playing. This rating can be tricky. Now, I'm friendly asf, did it till it became a part of me. If na guy, I call them Chief when I call them to know their location. I say thanks when I get paid and wish them a good day when they get the Bleep out my car. My AC is mortuary standard that I only use step 1 to cool my car and I always play recent tracks for them crazy girls and guys. My rating is 4.93 btw. Learn from all I said and watch ur rating improve. Godspeed!!

Try and reflect on the rides you have had in the past 3 days.

Is your ac functional?..

Do you make calls while driving?..

Don't allow people smoke in your car? Cos the nicotine smell gets absorbed into the car, you won't smell it due to conditioning, but a new rider will catch the waft of nicotine, an average rider will form an opinion at that instant.

Your driving pattern? Is it smooth? Do you slam brakes suddenly ( this can happen once in a while, but shouldn't be the norm).

Ask rider, do you have a preferred route or we follow Google map.



During this period, If you observe your rider is using a face mask as he/she is approaching the car, then try n use one too.

Sometimes its network related, other times it just misbehaves. It has happened to me a couple of times despite having a very strong network.

When I wrote them, they came with the usual network, upgrade and restart your app thing but I knew none of that was the problem.

After waiting for quite sometime, finally got a request. Rider called and requested I give her 15 minutes. Wouldnt have thought twice about cancelling when things were good.

A part of me wants to just wait as everywhere dry but something keeps telling me she may end up cancelling it and I would have missed another trip while waiting for her.

Note that you must not have a negative balance otherwise u would have to pay up the amount before the account would be migrated.

Go to the road safety offices in Ogun state, its faster. Ota, Sagamu, Odozie street inside ojodu before yakoyo(not the one on the main road o).
