Where did you see the teleprompter in that arena? Someome that was standing meters away from the camera. There is a reason why the major news networks called that speech terrific, coz it was delivered completely offhand.
Oga, for formal speeches like 'Inuagural Speech' or State Of the Union address' a teleprompter is used cos the speech is written by a team of writers and then vetted by advisers and the speaker (Biden) himself.

Although Biden is notorious for usually going slightly off course and 'winging' it to some extent, when using a teleprompter, but it is always there and that was the case today.

The teleprompters today were positioned off right and off left of Biden and our screens, you'd only see them when the camera gave an almost aerial/distant view of the stage on the capitol.

“Disagreement must not lead to disunity” President Joe Biden.

Hopefully, those who always seek to divide Nigeria along so many lines because of disagreement with the current government are listening.

Those that founded the USA did it consciously and with collective consensus. Those are part of the fundamental foundations of nationhood. Every nation that are the envy of other nations were at a point established on these foundations. If those variables, among others, are not in place, then we cannot begin to talk of a legitimate country.

Nigeria, as is it is a construct of the colonial powers. It was created by the Empire for administrative convenience and to maximize economic exploitation. Having a geographical location situated in a map does not alone qualify a land mass or confer to it the status of nationhood. Having all the paraphernalia and trappings of governance will give you at best what the developed nations of the world call a banana republic.

The struggle for self determination is legitimate, moral, legal and normal. We talk about division as if its a crime. Cshekoslovakia is a good example out of a handful of others. When you lump different people at cultural and ideological loggerheads, what you have at best is a "royal rumble" of nations which will be characterized by hate, genocide, infrastructural decay, retrogression, economic backwardness, hunger, famine, and the list continue.

Tell me, out of what I have listed, which one is not happening in Nigeria? If you think Nigeria, at this stage, is a country then you are ignorant. This banana republic cannot last forever. It is on the verge of disintegration. There is no commonality. There is a plurality of agenda. And when that happens, a collapse is inevitable. Our case is not about disagreement, it has gone beyond that.

If Nigeria will stand, it is not by deception or force. Holding people by brute force is colonization. Its not nationhood. There was no agreement among t the constituents as to how the nation will forge ahead. We were foisted on each other. And there is even a particular ethnic group who sees the geographic entity as their object of conquest.

Look at the so called constitution of Nigeria. Go and study it if you care to and see if that document is based on the principle of justice, equity and morality. How did the 1999 constitution come to be in the 1st place? Who were the representatives from different part of the country that forged it? We need to begin to ask salient questions and not just behave like ignorant foo.ls and expect Nigeria to prosper by happenstance. Go and write it down, of Nigeria continues to on this trajectory, it will implode. It will self destruct. And it will not take so long for that to happen. I beg!

Congratulations Big Brother America, That's a real model of a country to emulate.

If what has been happening in America since the past 4 years should happen in some countries of the world....I tell you my friends, that would have lead to the beginning of civil war or a more disdain battle of no return.

Now, what make America tick? The system, the unshaken system that protect the citizens from injustice and uphold the fundamental rights of every American citizen. No one can trample on that right, not even the president of the United States of America himself..Trump tried to disrupt the foundational structures and principles of the American constitution. The constitution that has protected and guided the country since inception over 400 years ago without wavering and bias.....even slavery was vehemently rejected and resented in that constitution. The constitution that has stand the test of time and Still standing. The constitution that has existed beyond the white supremacy and other hate and racial group.

That constitution that was jointly and mutually constituted by the fore fathers of America. The patriot and not some tribe or some kaki boys or some illiterate junta's in the like of Buhari etc.....

To give you a shocker. Any terrible and fortunate candidate to become an American president can easily be pushed out by the system.....the living constitution cos that constitution is much alive and watching every step of any citizens especially the one that promised to defend and honour the America constitution.

In God Of America we Trust.....

Even if the are, should disagreement be allowed to lead to disunity?

It will take forever for them to be accepted again by the American people.
Why do you think Mike Pence started doing all the 'eye service' ? To win back the people to the GOP.

The fuckin irony lmao grin . Even more amazing when you realize that Biden stutters yet he gave a more impressive speech than Trump has done for the past four years +

Trump doesn’t use prepared speech also, If I ask you why you dislike trump you won’t have a tangible reason rather than he is arrogant, and talks anyhow. What do you expect from a politician with over 50 years experience??. Should not know how to speech, it’s not by speech by action, Fashola speak well, but act like slowpoke. I think most people are moved by words not by action or pattern. Why they could sell a Buhari well.

The people done it, you see. The didn't go wailing about their birth like lazy irresponsible fuqs but made the best of it and improved their own lives. I'm certain there's many Nigerians like that too

Lol... They don't let you see the teleprompter normally. That's its purpose in the first place, to make the speech natural and flawless.

Lol...

Some people are ignorant and yet crucify Trump.

Maybe you guys should go and watch Trump's inaugural address and compare.

Joe Biden that wasn't able to give a 5-minute address throughout campaign without making errors is now the one that will give so long a speech?

You guys should just start thinking and it starts by verifying everything told to you by CNN.

Lol... The next few months will really be funny.
