Fred hasn’t been fantastic but he hasn’t been poor. Martial is the one who needs to gedifokoff. VDB would contribute more from that wing I’m sure.

Go and watch city game. Their players are very very good on the ball, and dont misplace passes and i think thats what pep priotises. VDB will be a very good player for sleek interplay but Ole doesnt have that kind of gameplan, his own is pass when you like and in sha Allah. Thats why he hasnt been able to find a role for VDB.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to what is being emphasized in training. Fred, Pogba and Bruno can do that but we don't see that in matches. I'll praise Pep for what I see in City first before I call any player. Same with lfc
