Here's my testimony

I got an offer for September intake 2020
I did TB test (X Ray) in August and it was abnormal. I submitted sputum for further screening so I deferred to January intake.
TB result came out negative in November

Online Application: 3rd December
Biometrics: 8th December

No decision mail. The waiting period was not easy at all, it was so frustrating
Collection mail: 20th January
DHL delivery: Today, 21st January
Previous Refusal: 2 Uk visit visa refusals
Country visited : Dubai

God has indeed been faithful to me and with Him, all things are possible.

I'm using this opportunity to thank everyone on this platform. I read through the thread right from part 3 and I got answers to my questions through questions that were answered here. God bless you all.

You can track your application through the TLS website. Just log on to your visa application page and proceed to TLS just as you did when you wanted to book your biometrics

Like log in through ur UK visa application page, scroll down you will see a green high lighted option of PROVIDE DOCUMENTS AND BIOMETRICS, then click on it, it will redirect you to tls page, then scroll down till you see track application, finally you click on it

Paid with a pounds card. Got someone in the UK to make payment for me. I also heard you can use any dorm account if you have no one to pay in the UK. Someone also mentioned Barter App. You'll have to create a dollar card using Flutterwave's Barter App.

Tell me what you want to know. Do note that, if you want your application processed faster, there’s a particular email you copy when you send a mail to the school. Worked for me.

1. $10,000 is the required amount you can carry per person but if you have more you must declare it at your point of departure.

2. open a domicilary account either dollar or pound and you will have full access to your funds anywhere in the world with your ATM card.

They won’t ask for TB test, but that Covid ehn. Make sure you do it. Border officers are always different, so what they ask A might be different from B. Just make sure you have the locator form and Covid test. Cheers

Depends on the school. If Waec is more than 4 years some schools ask for letter of language instruction from your University. I ended up wrtiting IELTS academic CD because the wahala from my uni in naija and UK was too much.

Are you saying that I can use letter of language instruction from my University? My school is asking of WAEC not more than five years and my own is even more than twenty years. I am planning of writing another. You know the stress.

Speak to your school before you write another. Many schools accept a letter stating that your previous study was fully undertaken in English.

Maybe you try other schools ..... writing another WAEC because of Masters admission seems way too much trouble to go through when others schools wont require you to do so .... ielts is even better than writing a whole WAEC again

One-way is okay. You don't need a round-trip flight for student visas.

Is your visa Tier 4 student visa and for a program visa longer than one year. If yes then one way is absolutely fine

Send a mail to our school asking if they accept letter of language instruction in lieu of SELT. If not,

If you have a good command of English and read fast just do ielts academic computer delivered. I did with MOD at yaba. Booked on 11th dec, wrote 15th dec, results were online 17th, collected the results 18th dec. Its fast. But depends on you.
