Let the world be put on notice today that the Federal Government of Nigeria is provoking her own citizens to war. Everyone is reporting that the Eastern Security Network engaged some operatives of the Nigerian military in an open gun battle. But, now, know the real cause that nobody is reporting.

Since the EndSARS protests that rocked the country late 2020, instead of police brutality to reduce in the South-Eastern Nigeria as the Federal Government seemed to promise with the disbandment of SARS, it actually multiplied. Apart from police brutality, there has also been incessant military brutality of unarmed civilians, without any known provocation.

Many of these incidents are not reported in the media. But, to give you an idea of what has been happening, on 8th January 2021, Sahara Reporters carried the news of a young man driving a Lexus car in Orlu and was suddenly shot dead by the men of the Nigerian Police. As usual, the police personnel used tear gas and tried to keep people away so that they wouldn't be able to take photos and videos. Unfortunately for them, someone succeeded in getting the video.

Since then, the youths of Orlu have been terribly angry because every attempt to get justice for the numerous cases of police and military brutality got swept under the carpet. So, naturally, some of them resorted to self-help.

Let it be known that it is impossible to have peace where there is no justice. The Nigerian Government is stoking a very violent fire whose conflagration will soon be uncontrollable.

To loose a war to an enemy once ,is a great serback to loose twice ,the people will be enslaved forever.

War is never fought by emotions but with common sense,strategy,planning,allies,funding,food banks etc.Does the South East have resources to part with foreign backers incase South South decides to go their own way in the struggle?
