I'm learning might as well go ahead and do the wood formwork for the real staircase, instead of temporary 'Mallam stairs' ahead of the main decking work.

I am working on the possibility of using the main stairs to cast this decking instead of making the temporary staircase. But I will discuss this with my concrete casters. They sometimes find it difficult to climb the 'mallam stairs', they say it slows their speed of work. Thank you.

We are currently doing the electrical and mechanical piping of this house today, we have bought about 200 bags of cement in readiness for the concrete slab cast.

Building my second twin duplex, this one in Awka, Anambra.
Noticed you started the waste conduit plumbing right before casting the foundation.

My engineer prefers starting the conduit plumbing right before decking. Is there any advantage doing it this way? He thinks one might accidentally put a nail through it at lintel level

Welcome bro, I have also noticed that some people do it that way, but I love my pipes starting from the foundation because I will like the pipes to me held in the concrete, this tend to preserve some of its strength and stability as it's also embedded into the concrete cast of the lintels.

Secondly, all my carpenters are aware of the procedure, and will not bring nails near pipes, if they have a situation where nails can pass very near to pipes, they will ask for the plumber to come and make some changes, or else we might use binding wire to tie the section.

So far, I haven't recorded any leaks in any of my previous conduit piping. Thanks.

Electrical and mechanical piping works for this decking has been completed. More work tomorrow.

My brother, I just seized the opportunity when the prices fell to 2,900. This will last me for about 5 weeks work in this site while I watch the markets.

We continue to offload sand, chippings and gravel needed for this decking cast.........

Mechanical piping works completed in readiness for the cast........

15m. oluwa hep me o. am i building two houses? make i calaculate how much i don spend on country home.

We couldn't start this decking cast because my concrete team couldn't arrive from Abia state on time today. They will be arriving here tomorrow morning, I am already here to wait for them.
