We can't be packing Championship and league one players into super Eagle

moreover we're not TOGO, LESOTHO, TANZANIA etc

so let ikpeazu enjoy his UGANDA CAREER

But we can have players from the backwater leagues of Europe and the Turkish league which is even lower than the Scottish league.

One of our best if not best new Midfielder Joe Aribo came from league one. In case you have forgotten.

And the Scottish league is reputed with good authority to be on par with English league one.

That's a very intelligent deduction.

Anyone watching the City game noticed how the two commentators lied that Bernardo Silva was offside when it was clear on camera he wasn't.

Why did the lines woman flag when she is as for me the best in the Premier League. Look at the mess they created

Even though West Brom are down by two goals, Ajayi is having a brilliant game.

Cleared a spilled ball that would have resulted in a goal.

Made a brilliant run and Pereira made a wrong choice not to give Ajayi when he was in the box to score.

Also making some nice passes.

How is Ajayi's reaction to danger and his spatial awareness?

Reading well but his team mates are not operating on the same wavelength as him. He still made another nice interception.

Either way, the off the ball movements of City is just disorganizing their shape.

West Brom needs to let Allardyce go. The team does not look well coached but I have still been impressed with Ajayi.

Bernardo Silva made a run into space and was not off side. The lines lady flagged off and the referee blew the whistle. City despite hearing the whistle continued and Cancelo scored.

They went for a VAR review and Bernado Silva was onside.

Unfortunately, the West Brom players stopped playing and Cancelo scored a free goal.

Hmm I always thought Ajayi is always slow to react to defensive situations. Well let's see

Hmm that will allow more creativity from the wingback but I fear how our midfield will cope

Last time Pep played 3 at the back against Lyon the midfield was all over the place

Very soon he will claim position, thrive and dominate.

Hopefully he will reconsider playing for Nigeria as the FIFA rules may give some flexibility for change of allegiance.

Lol, as per Serie A na farmer's league or him na Maldini?

Gabriel Jesus is one heck of an overrated striker.
His positioning is nothing to write home about and he literally contribute nothing to Man City team.

The position you criticise is even one of his key attributes. He pulls central defenders off their positions but changing his position in the front line.

Unpopular opinion

David Silva is overrated

TheGoodJoe I want to bring you into this topic, David Silva is a city legend and a premier league legend but he is not in the level of Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes I think he is at Fabregas level, some people even say he's one of the best midfielders ever in the premier league, In my opinion Yaya Toure was more better and more influential to City's midfield than him he never carried Man city at any stage rather Man city carried him

Kompany, Aguero, Yaya Toure contributed far more to Man city's recent history than him, I think he benefited from the overglamorization of technicality

What you are missing is that the Tactical astute play of Silva is what kept City tick.

We had warriors performing on a large scale but it would not be possible to operate at such magnitude without those little connecting passes that made it work.

Silva did this at the highest consistent rate. He hardly played a game without doing his bit.

This game will highlight the importance of David Silva to the big players of Manchester City.

Is fabregas not a PL legend? He may not have the longevity or a clutch player like Gerrard and Lampard but his numbers speak for him

I'm glad you brought this up, he is very poor in those 2 areas..Have you ever wondered how nigeria concedes aerially as tall as he is..something is missing in his defensive game...
I doubt we can consistently keep a clean sheet if Ajayi is in defense, he has serious problem with his reaction and awareness. Let's see, I do hope he improves this area of his game..

I love the fact that he is a scoring defender and might give you goals here and there..
