1k to the SE.. that una Ondo driver is very considerate o, Those ones in Osun here they charge nothing less than 2k even if na empty envelope you wan send. Are u using the Ogbese park or the Ado junction along the Benin exp.

In my experience with the cucs I've planted male flowers usually show up first to signal pollinators to include the route to their flight schedule so that when the female flowers show up pollinators are already abundantly available.

I was in market this morning and there is no cucumber. The agent was telling me the price is 6k now, I just told him 5k is good, and before I open and close my eye all the bag I took finished,they rushed it.

Hmm, this your response made me wonder if I have problem with my eye and had to show this pic to someone else and she affirmed that it's indeed yellowish. If the real-life cucumber is not actually yellowish then perhaps it's your camera or the angle of the photo.

The size is okay to harvest (I'll prefer to eat this size as the seeds are not yet strong) but if it's not yellowish it can grow bigger and fewer of them will fill a bag. However keeping them longer will delay other smaller fruits from bulking as the crop is focusing it's energy on maturing the bigger ones. If that bottom is indeed yellowish then it's already ripening and the seeds will be quite strong and less appealing to eat. Cucumbers are best enjoyed when not fully mature but some actually like it mature.

started harvesting but couldn't get a bag from my 300 stand as not all started fruiting at the same time. Thinking of selling in bits. Like what quantinty of it full a bag sir. Thinking of selling mine for each #60 since I couldn't get up to a bag

That will depend on the size of the fruits. The bigger the fruits the less the number to fill a bag. But I've never counted before.

I divide the farm into 2, then harvest 2-2 days,I start from January 13th. No matter how you maintain ( irrigate, manure or fertilizer) dry season will always be dry season. Tomato my people do here is an example of thrash and labour loss, weather and white flies beat them down despite all the knowledge.

I don't have the time, else I will miss my planting date for tomato. if I continue to irrigate my harvest will be like shakushaku 80%,viable one will be like 20%. It doesn't Worth it...moreover season is almost here ( other commodity loading)

materials I used, Anointing oil, Cabrio duo,Saaf, sharpshooter,rich soil, caterpillar force,trellis, binding wire, cocopeat, seedlings tray, manure, fertilizer, net, Baboo and drip irrigation system (setup) if any thing remain,I will modify when I remember.

based on my experience and what I have seen, PRUNING require skills, pruning base branch is not negotiable both in rain season and dry season, if you don't prune at all that means you will not be able to pass through furrow. During raining season, if careful prune like 2-3 time is done trust me you will like cucumber because it will seed!!!! But, if you try it during dry season that means you have expose you cucumber to direct hot weather and if Downy mildew join am nah e b say you Don enter one chance. One of my people here plant 4000 stand and over prune it, the result was disastrous, he was only able to harvest just 16 bags. Cucumber need foliage during dry season!

Be careful and cautious because it is very very dangerious!!!! am bringing this particular project to an end today, I thank God and I really enjoy and appreciate every body contribution,thanks and God bless you all.
