First, Conte didn't win 3 EPLs

Second, He wanted Lukaku and the board went for Morata.

He also chased Icardi away at Inter. Conte simply don't want players with a "big fish" attitude with the potential to become a nuisance to him and his squad, no matter how good they are.

Moreover, Costa Wanted to leave for Atletico Madrid. He spent most of his last season requesting for transfer.

There is no much difference in the performance of this side. So much possession with little threat on goal.
I think the major difference is,"hope" that things will be better now.

Also, Odoi is playing quite better
