You can check for some others also. Mine has served me well for years so I don’t know of any others...U get a 24 word key, and a 9 digit pass & its water proof
Hello flyheight ... I checked this on amazon and the price plus shipping is $88.51, are the no cheaper options for we that are newbie and our crypto asset is not that large to warrant us to get a wallet of 40k plus

My advise would be to always have a secure hardware wallet & a secondary wallet such as b it pay that has a recovery seed. I have recovered many of my forgotten coins using such seeds, nothing pass am.
You were talking about recovery seed here . please what's it all about and can we use this bit pay instead of trezors

GOD bless you too boss; glad we’re all able to contribute to each other on this thread...

I think Jedisco is better with the charts, I personally only look as far back as 18 months for my long term investments before coming

And then I only look as far back as 3 weeks, 1 week and 24hrs for my short term day trade invs, I usually set my own personal daily high low targets based off the 24 hrs or last 3 days as the case may be. For example today I’m looking to dump Xr at 132/134
Lt at 66/68
I’m in Eth till it hits 2k, I’m actually currently waiting for it to hit 620 so I can buy and sell at 680 and repeat the cycle a couple more times in next couple days or weeks
If Uncle B falls under 14.5 anytime soon I’m going to get some to hoard as well

pls what is the minimum BTC/ETH to buy or sell on luno??
Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by clueless(m): 3:39am On Jan 28, 2021
looks like a lot for charges though.
FlyHeight:

I have never bought on that site. I only buy frm Lno & Qoin base. I stated a while back that cuz of their ‘proneness’ to being ha c ked, I never input my bank info on b nance. I only move my qoins from my offline wallet to the x change whenever I want to do trds with dot or any other qoins they offer.

That being said; it’s best and cheapest to buy ur qoins straight off the x change. Nt from a 3rd party xcept they r Omo Boiz who want to sell at a cheaper rate & u know them.

Qoin base charges almost 150 dllrs to buy 10k worth of qoins.

Lno charges 300 n to buy 4 times that amount in na ira

Try safepal. Its relatively new and one sponsored by binance. just about $39 and really good. You can watch independent reviews on youtube too.

I use it on sell orders as a form of risk management.

E.g you buy eith at 50, it goes to 100, you think it may still rise to 150 but want to protect your profit incase it drops.

You can use a sell stop limit. Lets say you put your stop at 88 and limit at 86.
The stop is the price at which your order is triggered. In this example it's 88. So if the price of eith drops to 88, your sell order becomes valid.
Limit- this is the least price you want to sell for. i.e once the price gets to 88, your sell order is placed but it wouldn't be sold for anything below 86. It's useful especially if you're selling large amounts, when there's huge volatility or in pairs where the order books are thin.

Take for example, you want to sell 5000 betece. Thats hundreds of millions, a limit order will prevent sharp price fluctuations

A simple stop or stop market order means that once your set price is hit, your coins are sold for whatever buy price is available

Another one not available on binance is a trailing stop loss. Here you can set it at say 90 when eiths price is 100. It'd keep following it forward at a 10 dollar interval but never goes back. E.g if eiths price rised to 120, your stop will become 110. If there's a pullback then, it'd be hit and not go back.

It's tricky knowing where to put your stoploss cos they're hunted. You don't want to put it too low and if you put it too close to market price, it'd likely get hit b4 any significant move hence you may buy higher at the end.

That said, there are different ways of risk management. Personally, in some market conditions I tend to use different ways. Now what I use is mainly taking profit on the way up

Pls how do I go about limit on binance, tried it using limit at a lower price and my coin got bought immediately...

From all I've understood from here. Limit price is the exact price you want to sell your coyn.
once you click on sell, it's the limit option that is there by default and the limit price is the current price of the coyn. so you have to delete and input what price you want to sell yours. Then type in the quantity you wish to sell off and click sell. Anytime your order is paired, your coyn is automatically sold. How I do mine is this, once I buy my coyns successfully, I go ahead and click sell and set my limit price, I'll add my gain I expected to have on top of the current limit price, set the quantity I want to sell off at that price. And click sell. I can set another sell order at a different limit price provided I still have balance of the coyn remaining. Chikena. This way I don't get caught unawares when the price suddenly go up and I miss out to sell, again I don't have to pay 0.1% fee for the sell. After selling I set buy order using the limit option again, but this time, I will set my limit price way below the current price hoping for it to crash, and when it does your order will be filled without paying the 0.1% fee again.

Yeah it’s beginning to look like it’s holding strong around that 30k up region, if by the close of the week it holds, might be forced to buy at that range cuz chances are it most likely would go up if it holds longer as you stated

This price range seems to be stressing both sides... There's been strong selling into 30k and it continues to hold... My trendline has been breached but the horizontal 30k support continues to hold... Whichever way this resolves should be significant

Not yet but the SEC settles 95% of the time; they impose a fine and agree on a compromise. It’s dispute is whether it’s a cryp or a security. However even if they rule that it’s a security or not; it simply won’t be traded on US xchanges, might cause a temporary dip in prices but it will not run them to the ground. They already have major deals with over 200 banks across the globe & their tech is used for Money grm; d US market won’t make too much of a difference

I'd disagree with the final part. In the early days of this space, they had an advantage for the banks use case. That has been the narrative for years but not anymore.
Right now, stable coyns seem better suited for this. With all the talk about sec, major banks wouldn't come close. Already, crypt0 is still viewed as shady in some banking quarters.

We're in a bull market which will come to an end too. My aim is to buy dips on strong projects and make money cos When betece corrects, everything corrects with it. I got married to weak coins in the past and had to exit in regret. I still hold some extp but its a small part of my portfolio

Important Question

Is it cheaper buying coins from Binance directly or buying from the market of individual sellers?

Yes its cheaper but that's even less of an issue. Security is the other one. Most folks who go buying from others get duped

I have some BeTeC i want to sell whenever the price of BeTeC gets to $34k, can i place order on luuno indicating i want to sell whenever price rises to $34k? so that even when i dnt notice the rise, the trade would be executed automatically.
i dnt usually chek my wallet always and so i dnt knw when price rises. PLEASE HELP

You can place a limit order on B1nance.
Preferably, you could set a price alert on Binance... once it crosses 34k, it'd alert you and you can choose to sell
I use other trading apps to set price alerts as they vibrate out

A frnd of mine bought eth for 40k... He realized his gain to 50k that is profit margin of 10k but it fell down again.... Now he is currently at 29k plus... That means he has lost about 11k of his deposit.....

What should he do? Should he just leave it or pull out

Pls others shud help with this too

Your friend is making the mistake alot makes.

If you're buying for the short term, you should know here to get in and have targets.
For the long term, you may not worry as much.

Seems he got in randomly thinking price would keep shooting up. For those folks, even if price goes to 100k, he'd still not sell

I believe Eith has better prospects, but let’s hear what others also think
I agree but eith is at a critical point against betece... I expect some pull back... A flip of this level could see it go upto 40% against betece before the next resistance. That'd usually mean it doing much better in usd.
The room on the upside is tremendous if it can hold support

One thing i've learnt over the past 23 days i started trading is not to panic when there's a dip. I just wait when it rises and some profit have been made i sell and wait for a dip and then buy. That has been my Lil strategy.

Good stuff...

Combining this with knowing when to cut your losses and not hold a project down into the doldrums is golden.

Gurus in the house, please i need your advice as a first timer into crypt0.

Bought Eithy @1300, ADA @ .33, DOT @16.5 and LINK @ 22 this morning.

Are those coyn a good hold at that very entry price or I collapse some into Eithy?

Hehe... You bought this am and want to collapse this am into Eithy..

Lemme ask out of curiosity... Why did you buy dot and whats your sell target?
Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by jedisco(m): 7:07am On Jan 28, 2021
Did a quick 35% scalp on doge this morning... Not bad.. may rinse and repeat... In nd out...
May target another scalp today or rinse profits elsewhere

Not advising folks here to join in.. it's extremely risky

Bought some at 0.8 amd may take profits and reenter if it holds

Best thing is to watch videos on it...
Likely your limit buy price was above the market price so effectively a market sell. Same also for when you set a limit sell below the market price..

The only way to achieve that would be an OCO order which is more complex...

Same way in moving betece to any address I'd say.... You need the recipient address which you can get from your binance account

Betece dropped down to below 30k yesterday and eth didn't dip lower than 1,200. Anybody sleeping on eith will be shocked when btc gets back to 40k. Btw, I'm still certain eith will breakout to the moon once it test it's ath cos this is probably the 4th test...

NB: Not a financial advice tho

I also need physical mentorship, please. Especially in the aspect of technical analysis. I want to be able to understand charts and be able to make strong predictions on coyns and price movements. I'm a newbie in this game.

Like few days ago, I bought COMP at 212dols and in less than 30hrs, it went up to 240. I spotted the increase through the binance notification I set and quickly sold my comp because based on my guess, the price could come down again. And really, the price came down the next day. It's been dwindling around 220 ever since. I just based my ability to exit and take profit at a good time as being based on luck or just pure gut. It had nothing to do with analysis. So I thought if I could make profit using just my feeling on comp, I would make much more profit if I can understand chart patterns, price trends, etc. And if I don't understand these things, I might not be as lucky another time. Anyone in Abj who knows ta, etc and would like to teach for free or a fee should please indicate. I want to learn as much as I can about crypto.

What potential coin do you think will make this high percentage? I remember about a month ago, this same doge made over 60% in a day, boy i was shock. I'm currently in pains because i wanted buying doge a day before yesterday and waking up today to see it over 35% breaks my heart. I know it's risky but i still want to time my entry into it, or better still, what alty has such potential?
