Open Letter To Spdc Management about failure to pay scholars by unhappystudent(op):
I want to first thank the spdc (shell petroleum management company) management for their solid support for Nigerian students through their undergraduate scholarship program.

I know that my recent predicament and that of other Nigerian students can never be the doing of the management of this great company but that of some incompetent staffs of the scholarship program.

I want to bring to the notice of the management of spdc that most students of the spdc undergraduate scholarship program has not received the payment that was due to them since last year.

Due to the devastating effect of the corona virus pandemic so many of us relied heavily on this scholarship payment to take care of our academic needs like school fees payment, house rent etc.
It is very unfortunate that so many of us has been evicted by our landlords due to our inability to pay our house rent that is due and exams are fast approaching but yet, we have not paid our school fees.

It is very obvious that so many of us will not write our exams due to the continued delay of our scholarship payment, which if it happens, nullifies the purpose of the scholarship.
It is also worthy of note to inform the management of spdc that during the reign of the former scholarship adviser, this kind of delay has never occurred because students receive their payment

on time and latest by November.

In conclusion, I am using this medium to call the attention of the management of spdc to please look into their undergraduate scholarship program and sort out the delays since other scholarship

programs have fulfilled their obligations to their awardees.
