Anything more than this belongs to the officer.
I tell people this, because of the massive corruption goin on in immigration office, stop waiting till u need the passport next week before coming here to complain and complain of not gettin booklet.

U are trying to break through a system which encourages corruption big time and as such it won’t be easy.

If u want to do ur passport, DIY method... and say u need it in 3 months or so, start now.. do not wait because u see this road cud get lonely, but in the end when u do all urself without enriching one cow and triumph and save ur money, you will understand how good all of this feels.
I encourage everyone to do as much as u can and read as much as u can on this thread. Barely few pages and some of us dnt want to read. DIY works in every state, I noticed it’s more in the southern states our ppl treat us this way... has anyone from the North come to complain of how no booklet or how he cudnt get thru the process?

You can renew it in any NIS Passport Office nationwide.

Don't push to front page it will be too crowded and alot of misinformation will start flying around

That place is a cartel house, I paid extra 12k after paying about 18k online cos they wouldn't verify my payment and allow me to thumbprint and all, I still had to wait for another one and half weeks before collecting my passport cos it wasn't ready. They still do the old standard passport there and not the new electronic one. I did all the registration and filling online by myself but I still ended up paying 30k in total

Thanks so much for the response, Plan b will be to get into the capturing room, Plan c will be to meet pco directly, the PCO sounds cool. He tries to know if any of the applicants are having issues whenever he arrives and states publicly IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUE YOU CAN COME TO ME.

Very possible. Although they will squeeze face tire and then try to frustrate u but diy is done there. As long as u can capture, passport will come out.

A friend who works there said its 38k for the new passport and even if I come with DIY, I'll still pay what I'm meant to pay in the centre.

it's quite unfortunate for me to be a Nigerian, once I find my way out of this shit hole, nothing is making me come back to live in there.

I couldn't get my passport from Ibadan passport office since 4th of November 2020 after paying #28000 instead of the normal #17000. Because I was desperate to get it as soon as possible. I needed it to apply for a scholarship program which was going to close on 24th of January 2021.
After all my plead to allow me to see the PCO may be he can be of help. The useless officers at his office didn't allow me
I made a complaint via the NIS twitter account, the next thing is for them to block me for making a complaint

Na lie. My family members did it themselves there. They paid only 26k each online and scaled thru. As long as you have all your documentation and know ur rights noone can force ur money out of your pocket.

U must be sharp at all times, patient but firm.
U people should stop under estimating the customer service number, it has been dropped here several times, even on this page... use it and make ur complaints if anyone is makin u pass through difficulties!

Like when did you apply and get the passport in Ilorin.. I mean the time frame..

Been a month now over here in Warri, and na no booklets story.. Even paid for the express of 34k... Planning on going to their support on twitter too cos I don't understand anymore.. If there have been no booklets in other states other than Lag, Abj, and PH, then why the heell are they still running and not close em down....??
