Covaxin, the made-in-India vaccine, does not need any form of expensive, specialized cold storage equipment. It can be safely stored in temperatures of 2C and 8C, the equivalent of a household fridge, equipment that most health centers already have, or can easily be supplemented, but certainly not at the cost of N250b.

Secondly, through the already established and functioning Federal health centers throughout the country, the FG already has a drug distribution network it can easily tap into, albeit, with augmentation for more efficiency and transparency.

Unfortunately, we live in a land where heroes are calumnized and fools are celebrated, where common sense is a taboo and transparency an aberration.
