My first time in a police station. I went to report a guy who sells refurbished phones. His shop was like three shops away from a police station. I returned the phone for a small fault. He collected the phone and kept postdating me. Give me my money e refuse.
Na so I enter police station go report. The DPO sent for the guy and in the presence of the guy the officer was shouting on me and blaming me."Why must you buy a second hand phone. Don't you know they are always faulty?"
I wonder if it is a crime buying refurbished phones. He was even acting as if e go slap me. This was after the guy don confess to be holding the phone and my money and was promising he will give me my money.

It was one of his junior officer that later called me aside and told me that the phone seller is from the same village with the DPO. That was the reason he was siding the guy. I was totally disappointed.

At last the junior officer helped me collect back my money after days. And I ended up sharing same money with the junior officer and his colleague.

You give them the information about those guys and your life won't be the same again.

Infact if you mistakenly flash those numbers in their advert you are in for trouble.

Police wahala. I remember some years back when my phone rang, it was my very close friends number so, I picked up and the voice wasnt his. I was scared that maybe he was involved in an accident or something terrible but the voice(s) at the other end asked if I knew the owner of the phone? I said Yes! That the owner was a close friend. They now said they found the phone sonewhere on the floor, that I should come and pick it up at the mobile police station at a named location. I told them I was comming they should wait for me........ Last time they ever heard from me. I off phone. I can not be lured into a case that I know nothing about. Nope! Not me.
