According to reports, the family of the deceased have called for the case to be closed as they do not have the finance to carry out an autopsy.

Everything is Nigeria is now pay as you go. So the family of a suspected murdered person is expected to pay for the autopsy?

More info is needed, even if the so call friend is truly innocent and doesn't know how to contact the family of the deceased, I think he should have reported the case to the nearest police station...
