Anything less than 1000 (GT and EH) would be weird. However, they already have a number in mind. Let's see how things go.

This recruitment would definitely end sum day, just like every other recruitment ( NLNG, DPR, NNPC..). Many of us should have gotten one or two experiences by now, but we still neglect them and continue doing the same thing over and over again... They won't take everyone(fact), no matter what you scored in the quiz' u ain't guaranteed anything...
I once mentioned that I did my internship last year with D, which gained me opportunity to interact with their staffs especially the new intakes... I realized that majority of them doesn't know what is nairaland' but they always emphasized on God factor. Getting a lucrative job in Nigeria is beyond waking up in the morning, reading nairaland/ posting false reliable source and always analyzing the process...
Why not Focus the energy in praying to whomever you believe in, PREPARE for the interview and improving yourselves ( Career wise). If you do these things trust me you will gain much confidence during the interview and may even find better opportunities
We have been through a lot already in this country we should have learned...
Don't place yourself in a position where this recruitment seems to be your last hope.

The Testmi site no longer running. It shows they are done with aptitude test phase. And they have handed over the names in order is scores to their client.
The next phase is interview .
All of you speculating how much they pay should calm down. All these guys don’t pay much, it is your yearly lump sum that makes you to be comfortable a bit.
Out of all these federal government oil sector agencies , only NLNG de try small and that’s because it is a joint venture. The NnPC and DPR that we so revere much don’t pay like that. Like I said earlier on it is your yearly upfront and then being able to take loan is what makes them live that flashy life. Let us assume you your total take home ought to be 400k for everything per month , but because you take an upfront every year , your take home would be like 250k per month . Unlike private sector that will pay you your total money and no upfront money for you apart from appraisal money . So make we cool down

Who said so? Some FMCG dey try, Nestle, P & G, Guinness, Nigerian Breweries are all fantastic places to work.

I was told that only few GT scored above 50% in the second test and EH had more people with 50+... That 40% may be realistic oooo...

In all honesty, GT questions were tougher!

First off na Oil and Gas coys we de talk of before na...n yes some FMCG de pay wella.eg. Nestle, Dufil.. I'm sure of those 2 cos I have guys working there...

I would find this a bit hard to believe sha, especially since some people wrote on Tuesday and had seen the Questions already...if those guys nor fit score above 80% den its well with them...lol

How did you know? Did you sit for both or you got screenshots during test?

But remember the number of people that scored 70+ in the first test alone are 5000+
For the second test, that number is for people with 50 above...but it's way easier for NCDMB to work with the 2nd test...don't you think so?

Laslas 5000 people is a lot of people to interview o....

I wrote one and have friends that wrote the other....the nature of the two were not the same from what I experienced and what I was told.

There must be a fair representation for all States of the federation in the recruitment exercise.
Adopting a general cut off mark will undoubtedly bring inequality into the system.
Assuming that they would like to interview 1000 candidates, about 60-70% could come from a certain geopolitical zone, while some zones could not have even up to 5% which is against the laid down procedures for recruitments into public service.
Anyway, whatever the case maybe, i trust NCDMB to do their homework well and it could take longer than expected. Some people that scored high will be dropped and some that scored low will make it to the next level. Begin to look beyond scores please.

Definitely bro, they won't recruit all Engineers, all Scientists or all lawyers and social/management scientists, taking note of geographical or national coverage is also a mandatory requirement. They must have to find a criteria for selection that can accommodate all. And it can't be achieved by scores alone.
