Definitely bro, they won't recruit all Engineers, all Scientists or all lawyers and social/management scientists, taking note of geographical or national coverage is also a mandatory requirement. They must have to find a criteria for selection that can accommodate all. And it can't be achieved by scores alone.

I also feel that their might be departmental demands put into considerations too.... Apart from geopolitical criteria their might be selection based on career from the overall performance and that will also bring in low score individuals into the system to balance for the demands...

Brother you've said it all even though I would have love you to let the scores mongers have their say. I realized that most of them doesn't know that the course of study plays vital role than anything else in this kind of recruitment.

There can never be a uniform cut off mark for all States, it will simply be the best candidates from each state or geopolitical zone.
There must be a fair representation for all States of the federation in the recruitment exercise.
Adopting a general cut off mark will undoubtedly bring inequality into the system.
Assuming that they would like to interview 1000 candidates, about 60-70% could come from a certain geopolitical zone, while some zones could not have even up to 5% which is against the laid down procedures for recruitments into public service.
Anyway, whatever the case maybe, i trust NCDMB to do their homework well and it could take longer than expected. Some people that scored high will be dropped and some that scored low will make it to the next level. Begin to look beyond scores please.

Lol. You know sometimes you hear what suits you. You for instance couldn’t have gotten 50% and hearing 75%......if I get 100% I fit dey hear say cutoff na 90%. Person wey get 42% fit dey hear say na 40%. But to be fair, 50% should be good enough. Coz with 50% they should get good numbers for interview.

But regardless of your score, hope on GOD, and don’t stop hoping on him. “You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes you .....”.
even your 1% can give you the job because GOD’s ways defy logic most times; that’s why he’s GOD. It doesn’t make sense, but that’s his speciality.

And those who scored well, there’s also a battle with the elites whose children are imminently qualified tbh. So las las na GOD. But while praying also be diligent in studies.

I felt the guy was catching cruise by saying cutoff for GT was 70%, so I decided to play along by saying 75%.

I no even sabi gate man for NCDMB, so where I wan get source from self.
