Please don't join me in this bro.
Cos I'm already disappointed in myself arguing with someone that have never handled a steering. ( manual or Auto.)

Lol

Who has this mail? grin

Driving is stressful. Even when we drive for long hours with an automatic car, we still get tired.

Manual is not as bad as they are making it look grin

Radu, I am damn serious. It doesn't matter what they call it anymore in Nigeria, covid, malaria, jedi jedi or typhoid. What matter is, people are taking anti-malaria related drugs and our sure agbo igba and getting through it. We will all be alright in Nigeria las las.

Manual car is good until you wan throw am gear 1 and the thing no enter especially for inside traffic.

For this job, I will not think twice before taking auto.

I can't be shifting lanes, shifting apps, and be shifting gears the same time abeg

Truth be told, the main reason for "nonsense" driving in Nigeria, apart from consequences, is because majority of people don't LEARN to drive anymore. Commuters ain't got any clue of road rules.
Reason:
Because it is an automatic transmission they just enter, start, engage the gear and zoom. Some even drive without supervision.
Higher percentage of ones that drive with supervision inherited the errors of their supervisors and the cycle goes on and on.

The way you guys are demonizing manual cars is hilarious grin

It's not like all your hands and legs are working everytime. You change the stick in less than two seconds.

On a freeway, you don't use the clutch or change gears. You just go to the highest speed and stay there

I drove stick for good 7 years before I even sat in an automatic car

Yes, the auto is more comfortable, but the manual is not as bad as it's been painted..

Stick is bae smiley

Bros leave those learners.
A manual car will earn the same money as an automatic.
It is also cheaper to maintain and consumes less petrol.
My ford Mondeo was manual.

Am not in the mood for back and forth arguments so I will ignore them.
truthfully, I started this hustle with a manual chevy, it was sweet. I didn't experience much body pains. Now that I'm using auto, my body don hear am. In conclusion, manual is bae if you know how to drive it. I off my mic

So they gave you an antibiotic, pain suppressor, immune builder/anti-inflammatory and steroid.

While it's good information, truth is your doctor didn't know what to do so he focused on just trying to make you more comfortable and supporting your immune system grin. You defeated it all on your own and probably would have without this. You are one of the lucky ones genetically resistant to it. Believe it or not the most helpful thing to you on that list was the vitamin c followed by the steroid then the pain suppressor. The antibiotic had zero effect on a virus.

Side bar: a lot of people here are reporting that after recovering from loss of taste and smell, they can no longer stand the taste of eggs. Is that the case for you? Supposedly something changes and eggs now taste horrible after recovery. Olorun ma je!
Actually yeah, but that doctor no try at all,

Oga dru, I've always told you to stay away from this kind of discussion cos rumour has it that you can't drive so your judgement on this kind of matter will not count. I drive a stick shift and it is not as stressful as painted. pros are durability, cheaper maintenance, better fuel economy, cars are cheaper. cons: stress of changing gears in slow moving traffic. if you drive a modern manual car that's well maintained, your clutch and gear will be very soft hence less stress while changing gears. I just pity some drivers that can't think. you have 1m but because you want to drive a particular brand with automatic transmission, you'll go and enslave yourself and be doing hp or rental with your 1m when you can get a good car with manual transmission at that price and make money for yourself and become your own boss. I started this hustle with rentals and I first car was an 04 corolla. That car came from canada so had suspension issues. I later bought my own car which was a big daddy camry 04 little did I know that the car is notorious for shorting oil. I use I litre of oil to top up weekly, I later sold off after 9 months of usage. I bought 09 corolla for 2.1m but discovered it's a wrong tool of the hustle too cos its costlier to maintain than previous car and sold off before the AC wahala too starts. Truth be said! the 03-08 corolla is best for the hustle but it is unnecessarily too expensive and the fact that you can't have peace of mind with that especially in Lagos. it's also becoming expensive to maintain too due to costs of parts too I currently drive a brand that's not popular in Lagos, fits the hustle too, though manual but who cares!, cheaper parts, fuel economy is good, rugged, nice looking atleast to my eyes and fits the fare perfectly.
don't mind them. Sometimes I see driver's begging to drop 400k as down payment for hp. I just shake my head. I bought my first manual chevy for 300k, spent about 100k to fix ac and some other things. Corolla cannot see my back on 3mb. Now I have 3cars on the road. Start small ppl. Peace. N:b my current rating is 4.98. last week, I was on 5.0.
Use your head guys

The comparison is very different

In driving, The right leg works most, whether it's auto or stick. Or is there a way the automatic makes your right leg to rest?

The left is mostly used to Clutch down, and this happens when you want to brake completely, or change gears.

The hand shifts the stick in seconds. It's not like you need so much strength to move from 1 to 2.

I'm starting to believe that many people talking down on Manual cars, didn't drive it much

To be sincere, it's not bad at all, talk more of how it's being exaggerated

because they are documenting correctly? Or is it not only when a big man dies they record it? In the north they are doing in drives and attributing it to "cause unknown" (first hand account from friends that ran down south to get away). In the south, they are calling it malaria and typhoid. Sidon dia.

I be wan quote am same thing,
Suffering and smiling, as if whites that built Auto to replace manual doesn’t know why they did.

I choose comfort over anything, auto that you can easily engage reverse and drive in case of any trouble.

That’s how I was at agungi around 10:45pm waiting for mainland trip, I was inside the car resting while waiting for the trip, suddenly I heard people shouting and running, immediately I put on my engine just in case of anything, a guy just came from behind to my car and wanted to hit my car windscreen with plank, I just quickly engage my car gear and put it on Drive.

I hit the guy and he fell in front of my car, I wanted to climb him and zoom off but something just struck me not to kill someone, so I quickly engage my reverse with ease and cut my hand while I engage my Drive to zoom off.

If I was driving manual, probably I will be at ladipo the next day to look for windscreen or be in a hospital receiving treatment from the beating I would have received...
if it was manual, the guy for collect. Only the screeching alone is bae. When next you watch movies, observe robbers get away cars. They are manuals. Why do you think police hillux and escort cars are manual. Manual bad gan. Auto na women car

Hello FAMS,
I don eventually fall mugu for the "send ur account details" riders.
A lady requested for a ride from Agungi to Lekki phase1 on Sunday and the ride was smooth until the time to make payment.
She promised to send my money as I confirmed Gtbank was misbehaving as I couldn't buy airtime from my bank app too. The good looking devil called Chisom with mobile number 08168675237 has not send the money (#1,200) till now.
I ran a background check and noticed she operates an online kitchen.
Kindly assist me teach the wicked lady a lesson.
